UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN "INNAHUM YA`TUNA LAILAN" DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN AL-ANA AFHAMU KARYA AHMAD KHALID TAUFIQ: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat pada cerpen "Innahum Ya`tuna Lailan" dalam antologi cerpen Al-Ana Afhamu karya Ahmad Khalid Taufiq. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis struktural. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah unsur-unsur intrinsik di dalam cerpen mencakup fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter, alur, latar, kemudian tema, serta sarana cerita yang terdiri atas judul dan sudut pandang. Penelitian ini juga membahas keterkaitan antarunsur tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah tokoh 'Aku'. Adapun tokoh tambahan di dalam cerpen ini adalah Letnan Kolonel Hani, Letnan Kolonel Mustafa, petugas forensik, para tetangga, satpam apartemen, Mahmud Syakir, dan para hantu. Alur yang digunakan dalam cerpen ini adalah alur campuran progresif-regresif. Latar tempat dalam cerpen ini adalah tempat tidur, ruang tamu, kamar mandi, dan luar gedung apartemen. Latar waktu dalam cerpen ini, adalah pukul empat pagi, pukul dua pagi, pagi hari, pukul satu pagi, dan pukul tiga pagi. Latar sosial-budaya dalam cerpen ini, adalah tokoh 'Aku' merupakan seorang yang berstatus sosial menengah ke atas. Tema dalam cerpen ini berkaitan dengan tokoh utama, yaitu pada dasarnya manusia merupakan makhluk sosial dan tidak dapat hidup sendirian sehingga rasa kesepian yang dirasakan seseorang dapat mengganggu kesehatan mental. Judul cerpen ini relevan terhadap karakter utama dan isi cerita. Cerpen ini diceritakan dengan sudut pandang campuran terdiri dari sudut pandang orang pertama-utama dan sudut pandang orang ketiga tidak-terbatas. Unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan satu sama lain sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh dan padu.

This study discusses the intrinsic element of the short story "Innahum Ya`tuna Lailan" in anthology short stories Al-Ana Afhamu by Ahmad Khalid Taufiq. The theory used in this story is a structural theory. The method used in this study is method of structural analysis. The problems discussed in this study is intrinsic elements in the short story consist of the facts of story that include characters and characterization, plot, and setting, the theme, and the literary devices that include title and point of view. This study also analyzes the relations among those elements. This study concludes that the main character in this short story is 'I'. The additional characters in this story are Lieutenant Colone Hani, Lieutenant Colonel Mustafa, forensic officer, the neighbors, apartement security, Mahmud Syakir, and the ghosts. The plot of this story is a mixed progressive- regressive plot. The place setting in this short story is the bed, living room, bathroom, and outside of the apartement building. The time setting in this story is 4 am, 2 am, in the morning, 1 am, and 3 am. The social setting in this short story is that the main character 'I' is a person with middle and upper social status. The theme of this short story is that basically humans are social creatures and cannot live alone, so the loneliness that a person feels can interfere with mental health. The title of this short story is relevant to the main character and the content of the story. This short story is written with mixed point of view consist of the first-main point of view and the third-person omniscient point of view. The intrinsic elements in this short story has relations with each other thus together they form a whole meaning.
