The Importance of Constant Platform Development in Ride-hailing Services to Increase Users Trust in Developed and Developing Country

Pengguna kedua belah pihak dari Ekonomi Bersama harus saling mempercayai satu sama lain untuk dapat bertindak dengan itikad baik. Kepercayaan disebut sebagai salah satu kunci penting untuk mempertahankan keberlangsungan Ekonomi Bersama. Terlebih, baik di negara maju maupun negara berkembang, platform transportasi bersama sedang berkembang dan mencipatakan lingkungan yang menguntungkan di dunia digital ini. Terdapat banyak platform transportasi bersama yang membuat langkah besar berinvestasi di platform mereka untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan pelanggan dalam mempertahankan kepercayaan dalam penggunaan platform. Terlepas dari semya perkembangan teknologi yang sudah dibuat dan diciptakan dalam platform transportasi bersama, masih belum jelas apakah perkembangan teknologi harus difokuskan dalam platform transportasi bersama. Oleh karena itu, dalam skripsi ini, dilakukan analisis mengenai cara mengembangkan platform secara kritis untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan pengguna di masa depan. Terlebih lagi, dengan kondisi dimana masuknya platform transportasi bersama ke dalam negara maju dan berkembang yang diterima berdasarkan tingkat kepercayaan negara tersebut.

Members on both sides of the sharing economy transaction must trust each other to act in good faith. Trust is considered as one of the important keys to maintaining of sharing economy. Moreover, in both developed and developing country, ride-sharing platform is emerging and creating a helpful environment in this digital world. Many ride-sharing platforms take a big step in investing their platform in maintaining users trust. Despite all of the technological development that has been created and invented in ride-sharing platforms, it is still unclear which technological development should be put into focus by sharing economy platforms. Therefore, in this thesis, we analyze the critical platform development in order to boost users trust in the future. Moreover, the entrance into ride-sharing platforms in developed and developing countries is accepted differently based on the country level of trust and yet we analyze this reason in this study.
