Skripsi berjudul Konsep Seni dalam Karya Lukis Affandi sebagai Sumbangan Pemikiran Filsafat Seni di Nusantara ini mengeksplorasi makna karya seni Affandi dengan corak ekspresionismenya. Kemudian akan ditelaah melalui Filsafat Seni di Nusantara. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk memahami persoalan mendasar mengenai konsep kreasi seni dalam karya lukis Affandi serta mencari tahu konsep seni dalam Karya Lukis Affandi memiliki gaya yang dapat mengisi sumbangan terhadap Filsafat Seni di Nusantara. Skripsi ini menggunakan metode penelitian historis faktual. Metode penelitian historis-faktual merupakan metode penelitian hermeneutika-filosofis dengan unsur-unsur metodis meliputi: Interpretasi, kesinambungan historis, koherensi intern, deskripsi. Hasil penelitian skripsi ini menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran seni Affandi memberikan sumbangan besar dalam sejarah Filsafat Seni di Nusantara. Beberapa sumbangan itu adalah sebagai berikut: pertama, pemikiran seni Affandi memberi sumbangan terhadap unsur ontologi Filsafat Seni Nusantara, memandang realitas seni adalah humanisme universal, realitas kemanusiaan dengan segala isinya yang riil. Kedua, pemikiran seni Affandi memberi sumbangan terhadap unsur epistemologi Filsafat Seni di Nusantara dengan berdiri pada satu landasan "melihat langsung ke objeknya" sebagai pandangannya akan sumber pengetahuan seni. Ketiga, pemikiran seni Affandi memberi sumbangan terhadap unsur aksilogi Filsafat Seni di Nusantara dengan terkait dengan nilai subjektif yang humanis dan diperjuangkan seorang seniman, dan nilai objektif yang erat kaitannya dengan kebudayaan yang dilihat.

This research entitled The Concept of Art in Affandi's Painting Works as a Contribution of The Thoughts Philosophy of Art in Nusantara explores the meaning of Affandi's works of art with his expressionism style. Then it will be analyze through the Philosophy of Art in the Nusantara. This research aims to understand the fundamental issues regarding the concept of art creation in Affandi's paintings, and to figure out the concept of art in Affandi's paintings has a characteristic that can contribute to the Philosophy of Art in the Nusantara. In this research, using factual-historical research methods. The historical-factual research method is a philosophical-hermeneutic research method with methodical elements including: Interpretation, historical continuity, internal coherence, and description. The results of this thesis research indicate that Affandi's artistic thought has made a major contribution to the history of Art Philosophy in the Nusantara. Some of the contributions are as follows: First, Affandi's art thought contributed to the elements of the ontology of The Philosophy of Art in Nusantara, showing the reality of art as universal humanism, a human reality with all its real contents. Second, Affandi's art thought contributed to the epistemological elements of The Philosophy of Art in Nusantara by standing on one basis of "looking directly at the object" as his view of the source of artistic knowledge. Third, Affandi's art thought contributed to the elements axiology of The Philosophy of Art in Nusantara with regard to subjective values that were humanist and expected by an artist, and objective values that were closely related to the culture viewed.
