ABSTRAK UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN "DUMUU AS-SYAITAN" DALAM ANTOLOGI DAJIJU Al-JASADI KARYA HAIFA BIIAR: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL ROBERT STANTON Oleh: Rafi Nugraha Penelitian ini mengungkap unsur-unsur intrinsik dan hubungan antarunsur cerpen "Dumuu as-Syaitan" dalam antologi dajiju al-Jasadi karya Haifa Bit­ar. Untuk menghasilkan makna yang utuh, teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural dengan analisis struktural. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas mencakup fakta cerita yang terdiri dari karakter dan penokohan, alur, dan latar, kemudian tema, dan sarana sastra yang meliputi judul dan sudut pandang. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah Si Aku berdasarkan dominasi kemunculan Si Aku dalam cerita dari awal cerita sampai akhir cerita dan keterkaitan Si Aku dengan tokoh lain. Adapun tokoh lainya adalah Maryam, Faid, dan Suami Maryam. Alur dalam cerpen ini terdiri dari tahap awal, tahap tengah, dan tahap akhir. Latar tempat dalam cerpen ini adalah depan cermin, rumah sakit, dan kamar Farid. Latar waktu yang dijelaskan dalam cerpen ini terjadi di pagi hari, tahun pertama, dan tahun kedua Maryam menderita setelah melahirkan Farid, dan suatu sore. Tema cerpen ini adalah melakukan tindakan kejahatan bukanlah solusi menyelesaikan masalah. Judul pada cerpen ini adalah Air Mata Setan yang merujuk pada tindakan karakter utama dalam cerita. Sudut pandang dalam cerpen ini adalah orang pertama utama. Adapun gaya yang digunakan dalam cerpen ini gaya konkret, simple dan ketidakberlangsungan makna. Unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan antara satu dengan lainya, yaitu tema dengan tokoh utama, tema dengan alur, tema dengan judul, tema dengan sudut pandang, dan tema dengan gaya, sehingga dapat menghasilkan makna yang utuh.

ABSTRACT INTRINSIC ELEMENTS OF SHORT STORY DUMUU AS-SYAITAN IN ANTOLOGY DAJIJU Al-JASADI BY HAIFA BITAR: ROBERT STANTONS STUCTURAL ANALYSIS By: Rafi Nugraha This research dicusses the intrinsic elements and the relationship between elements in a short story titled Dumuu as-Syaitan in the anthology of dajijul al-Jasadi by Haifa Bit­ar. In exsposing the intact meaning of the story, the theory used in this research is the structural theory with structural analysis method. The intrinsic elements examined in this research included facts that consists of characters, plot, and settings, theme, and literary devices that consist of title and point of view. Based on the analysis, the main character of this short story is I, because of the appearance of the I in the story and its connection with everything existed in the story from the beginning untill the ending . The other character is Maryam, Farid, dan Maryams husband. The story is delivered in parallel plot. The place settings in this short story are in the mirror front, in the hospital, and in Farids room. The time settings in this story are in the morning, and in the first and second year Maryam suffering afer giving birth to Farid. The theme of this short story is that commiting a crime is not a solution to a problem. The title of this short story is Dumuu as-Syaitan wich refers to the main character in the short story. The point of view in this short story is the first person-narator type. The style used in this short story is concrete, simple and rhetorical style. The intrinsic elements of this story are related to one another, that is the theme with character, theme with the plot, theme with the title, theme with the poin of view, theme with style, so that it can make complete meaning.
