KONSEP JATIDIRI PADA TOKOH TOTTO-CHAN DALAM NOVEL TOTTO-CHAN GADIS CILIK DI JENDELA KARYA TETSUKO KUROYANAGI DITINJAU DARI FILSAFAT ORGANISME ALFRED NORTH WHITEHEAD

Penelitian tentang Konsep Jatidiri pada Tokoh Totto-chan dalam Novel Totto-chan Gadis Cilik di Jendela Karya Tetsuko Kuroyanagi ditinjau dari Filsafat Organisme Alfred North Whitehead merupakan suatu upaya untuk memahami bagaimana manusia dapat menemukan dan memahami jatidiri. Dalam upaya pemahaman tersebut, peneliti menggunakan teori dari filsafat organisme Alfred North Whitehead sebagai objek formal dalam penelitian ini, karena teori tersebut menekankan pada persoalan filsafat manusia yang menyangkut sistem peradaban yang dapat memberikan gambaran kenyataan kehidupan manusia. Dengan kata lain dapat dikatakan bahwa realitas dunia dapat kita pahami melalui jatidiri manusia yang diperoleh dari persoalan filsafat manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan yang menggunakan metode hermeneutika filosofis sebagai alat untuk menganalisis data yang berhubungan dengan tema yang diangkat. Adapun unsur-unsur metodis yang digunakan adalah: 1) Deskripsi, yaitu penguraian teratur seluruh konsepsi objek material novel Totto-chan Gadis Cilik di Jendela yang akan menjelaskan secara sistematis data yang terkait permasalahan yang dikaji terkait tema penelitian, 2) Interpretasi, yaitu menerangkan isi novel dan mengungkapkan nilai jatidiri yang terdapat pada novel Totto-chan Gadis Cilik di Jendela, 3) Koherensi internal, yaitu memahami kajian penelitian secara baik untuk memperoleh intisari novel Totto-chan Gadis Cilik di Jendela dengan menunjukkan semua unsur struktural dalam penelitian yang melatarbelakangi permasalahan sebagai objek penelitian secara konsisten. Kemudian unsur tersebut menjadi suatu pemahaman yang logis dan sistematis atas permasalahan terkait penelitian, 4) Holistika, sebagai upaya memahami konsep dan konsepsi filosofis dari novel secara menyeluruh. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Dasar dari persoalan filsafat dalam pembentukan faktor jatidiri Totto-chan adalah Totto-chan menjadi lebih kritis dalam memaknai hidup dan menemukan jatidirinya hingga saat ini hasil dari pengalaman yang dilalui dalam kehidupan Totto-chan, 2) Konsep jatidiri yang terdapat dalam filsafat organisme Alfred North Whitehead dapat dilihat dari empat sisi, yaitu: 1) Human Soul, bahwa manusia mengalami sejarah, 2) The Humanitarian Ideal, manusia melalui perbudakan dan kemajuan teknologi, 3) Aspect of Freedom yaitu manusia memiliki kebebasan, 4) Civilization bahwa manusia melalui kehidupan dalam peradaban. Totto-chan mampu menginterpretasi permasalahan sezaman sehingga dapat mencari jalan keluar persoalan hak asasi manusia yang dihadapinya.

The research on the Concept of Identity in Totto-chan Figures Totto-chan The Little Girl At The Window by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi in terms of Philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead's Organism is an attempt to understand how humans can find and understand their identity. In an effort to understand, researchers used the theory of philosophy of organism Alfred North Whitehead as a formal object in this research, because the theory emphasizes the problem of human philosophy concerning civilization systems that can provide a picture of the reality of human life. In other words it can be said that the reality of the world we can understand through the human identity obtained from the problems of human philosophy. This reseach is library research which uses philosophical hermeneutic as a method to analyze data relating to the theme being raised. In this method the reseacher use some methodical elements as follows: 1) Descriptions, the regular decomposition of all material object conceptions Totto-chan the Little Girl at the Window which will explain systematically the data related to the problems studied related to the research theme, 2) Interpretation, explaining the contents novels and express the identity values contained Totto-chan the Little Girl at the Window, 3) Internal coherence, which is to understand research studies well to obtain the essence of Totto-chan the Little Girl at the Window by showing all structural elements in the research underlying the problem as object of research consistently. Then the element becomes a logical and systematic understanding of problems related to research, 4) Holistic, as an effort to understand the concepts and philosophical conceptions of the novel as a whole. The results achieved in this research are as follows: 1) The basis of the problem of philosophy in the information of Totto-chan's identity factor was that Totto-chan became more critical in interprenting life and found his identity until then the result of the experience he had experienced in Totto-chan's life, 2) The concept of identity contained in the philosophy of organism Alfred North Whitehead can be seen from four sides, namely: 1) Human Soul, that humans experience history, 2) The Ideal Humanitarian, human beings through slavery and technological progress, 3) Aspect of Freedom, namely humans have freedom, 4) Civilization that humans through life in civilization. Totto-chan was able to interpret contemporary problems so that he could find a way out of the problems of human rights he faced.
