UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN KANA YAISYU MA'A LISANIHI DALAM ANTOLOGI ASIF LAM A'UD ASTATI KARYA IHSAN ABDU AL-QUDDUS: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat dalam cerpen Kana Ya'isyu ma'a Lisanihi karya Ihsan Abdu Al-Quddus dan keterkaitan antarunsur yang membangun cerpen secara keseluruhan dalam menghasilkan makna. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis struktural. Unsur-unsur yang dibahas yaitu fakta cerita yang terdiri tokoh dan penokohan, alur, dan latar, kemudian tema dan selanjutnya sarana cerita yang terdiri atas judul dan sudut pandang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tema pada cerpen ini adalah bahwa seorang yang mempunyai penyakit compulsive talking sulit diterima oleh orang lain sehingga sulit mempunyai pasangan hidup. Tokoh utama cerpen adalah Mustafa, sedangkan tokoh tambahan adalah Su'ad, Baulatao, Ibu Mustafa, anggota delegasi, sekretaris umum, dan Ayah Mustafa. Alur cerpen ini adalah lurus atau progresif. Latar tempat pada cerpen ini adalah Mesir dan Korea. Latar waktu adalah pagi, siang, dan malam. Latar sosial berupa kehidupan tokoh utama Mustafayang ceriwis dan pandangan hidup Su'ad untuk menjadi sosok terkuat di rumah tangganya. Judul cerpen Kana Ya'isyu ma'a Lisanihi yang diartikan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia menjadi Dia Hidup Bersama Lidahnya menyaran kepada tema dan penokohan tokoh utama. Sudut pandang yang digunakan pengarang di dalam cerita adalah sudut pandang orang ketiga-tidak terbatas. Unsur intrinsik utama cerpen ini selain tema adalah tokoh dan penokohan, alur, latar sosial, dan judul. Kesemuanya mendukung tema, sementara unsur-unsur intrinsik yang lain mendukung unsur-unsur lain yang lebih dominan.

This study research aims to investigate the intrinsic elements of the short story Kana Ya'isyu ma'a Lisanihi written by Ihsan Abdu Al-Quddus and the relevancy of each element to show the context meanings. The theory used in this research is structural theory. Thus, the method used is structural analysis method. The intrinsic elements that are discussed consist of facts of the story: characters and characterizations, plot, and setting, the theme, and the literary devices which consist of title and point of view. This research concludes that the theme of this short story is a compulsive talking person is difficult to be accepted his society, thats why he is difficult to get spouse. The main character is Mustafa, and the supporting characters are Su'ad, Baulatao, Mustafa's mom, members of delegation and general secretary, and Mustafa's father. This short story used progressive plot. The setting of place is in Egypt and Korea. The setting of time is in the morning, afternoon, and night. The setting of social is the compulsive talking life of the main character, Mustafa and Su'ad live view to become a stronger person in her household. The title Kana Ya'isyu ma'a Lisanihi can be translated into Indonesian language as He Lived with His Tongue (Dia Hidup Bersama Lidahnya) which reffering to theme and characterizations of main character. This story uses the third person not limited point of view. The main intrinsic element in this story except theme is characters and characterizations, plot, setting of social, and title. This all intrinsic elements support the theme, while the other elements support the more dominant elements.
