Penelitian ini membahas unsur unsur intrinsik cerpen al Madrasah al Hadisah dalam antologi cerpen Ulbatun min as Safih. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton. Adapun unsur unsur yang dibahas adalah tema fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter alur latar dan sarana cerita yang terdiri atas judul dan sudut pandang dan keterkaitan antarunsur tersebut. Dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tema pada cerpen al Madrasah al Hadisah adalah cara berbicara harus disesuaikan dengan situasi dan kondisi. Tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah Aku yang berprofesi sebagai seorang diplomat sedangkan tokoh tambahannya adalah Kausar dan al Wazir. Alur cerpen ini adalah maju. Latar tempat pada cerpen ini adalah pada sebuah pesta dansa dan ruang kantor sang menteri. Latar waktu dalam cerpen ini tidak dijelaskan secara spesifik. Adapun latar sosialnya adalah lingkungan pemerintahan bidang diplomasi. Cerpen ini diceritakan dengan sudut pandang orang pertama utama. Masing masing unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen al Madrasah al Hadisah memiliki keterkaitan antarunsurnya yaitu keterkaitan antara tema dengan karakter tokoh utama keterkaitan antara tema dengan judul cerpen cerpen al Madrasah al Hadisah dan keterkaitan antara tema dengan alur cerita.

This research discusses the intrinsic elements of the short story al Madrasah al hadisah in anthology Ulbatun min as Safih. The analyze of the research uses structural theory. The intrinsic elements contain of theme the factual aspect of the story consist of characterization plot and setting and the story feature consists of the title and point of view and the correlation among the elements itself. The researcher concludes that the theme of this story is that manner of speaking must be conducted into the right conditions. The main character of this story is ana who worked as a diplomat and additional character is Kausar and al Wazir. The plot is progressive. The setting place is dance party and office room of Al wazir. The setting time can not be identified. The social background is described within the government especially in the diplomatic environment. The point of view of this story is first person. The correlation between the theme with the main character the theme closely related with the title and it is relevance with the story line.
