Rumah sakit memegang peranan penting dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan nasional. Sebagai institusi kesehatan, rumah sakit dituntut untuk mengorganisir staf medis dan non medis, perawat, dan memberikan pelayanan 24 jam sehari, 7 hari per minggu. SIMRS digunakan di dalam lingkup rumah sakit untuk membantu keseluruhan manajemen dalam fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan melalui informasi mengenai penyakit dan mengenai perawatan pasien dalam hal rekam informasi pasien, akuntansi, manajemen sumber daya manusia, manajemen aset, manajemen stok, dan manajemen pengetahuan. Harga beli atau sewa sebuah aplikasi SIMRS tergolong mahal dan penerapan diberbagai rumah sakit banyak yang kurang optimal atau malah cenderung gagal. Oleh karena itu penulis merasa perlu melakukan penelitian tentang faktor apa saja yang akan mempengaruhi suksesnya implemetasi SIMRS di RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang faktor-faktor apa saja yang akan mempengaruhi suksesnya implementasi SIMRS di RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus berdasarkan pengujian model, yaitu menguji faktor change management, project management, top management support, edukasi, vendor support, technical support, kualitas sistem, dan kualitas informasi. Dari hasil pembahasan penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa change management, top management support, technical support, kualitas sistem, dan kualitas informasi merupakan faktor-faktor yang secara signifikan akan mempengaruhi kesuksesan implemetasi SIMRS. Adapun faktor project management, edukasi, dan vendor support tidak signifikan akan mempengaruhi kesuksesan implementasi SIMRS.

Hospital play an important role in national health care system. As health institutions, hospitals are required to organize medical and non-medical staff, nurses, and to provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. SIMRS is used within the scope of the hospital to assist in the overall management of health care facilities through information about the disease and the patient's care in terms of recording patient information, accounting, human resource management, asset management, stock management, and knowledge management. The purchase price or lease an application SIMRS is relatively expensive and the application of various hospitals much less than optimal or even likely to fail. Therefore, the authors feel the need to do research about what factors will affect the successful implementation SIMRS in dr. Doris Sylvanus Hospital. This study aims to provide information of any factors that will affect the successful implementation of SIMRS in dr. Doris Sylvanus Hospital based on a testing model, which examine the factors change management, project management, top management support, education, vendor support, technical support, system quality, and quality of information. The results of this research is that change management, top management support, technical support, system quality, and quality of information are all factors that significantly affect the success of the SIMRS implementation. On the other hand project management, education, and vendor support do not significantly affect the successful of the implementation SIMRS.
