PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA, STRES KERJA, DAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASIONAL PADA KINERJA KARYAWAN PENELITIAN EMPIRIS DI PO ROSALIA INDAH KARANGANYAR SURAKARTA JAWA TENGAH

2015 | Tesis | S2 Magister ManajemenPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepuasan kerja stres kerja dan pengaruh komitmen organisasional pada kinerja karyawan. Penelitian dilakukan di PT Rosalia Indah Surakarta. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 120 orang, tetapi hanya 114 kuesioner yang layak digunakan. Pengambilan sampel (sampling) adalah purposive sampling, dengan kriteria pengambilan sampel: (1) karyawan minimal telah bekerja 3 tahun atau lebih, sehingga sudah memahami prosedur dan kebijakan perusahaan; (2) bukan anggota Satpam, dikarenakan satpam tidak melakukan pekerjaan administrasi, tidak ada target dan tidak berhubungan dengan pelayanan secara langsung; (3) bukan pimpinan, dikarenakan pimpinan merupakan pengambil keputusan dan kebijakan, yang nantinya efek tersebut dirasakan oleh karyawan; (4) bukan awak bus, dikarenakan ruang lingkup kerja tidak melakukan pekerjaan administrasi. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hipotesis diuji dengan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepuasan kerja karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kinerja karyawan PO Rosalia Indah( koefisien regresi baku 1=0,521; p=0.000<0.05).Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil penelitian Shaikh (2012), Samyling (2102), Khan, (2011), dan Rehman (2011). (2) stres kerja karyawan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan pada kinerja karyawan PO Rosalia Indah ( koefisien regresi baku 2=- 0,206; p=0.024<0.05). Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil penelitian Ahmad (2012), Shaheen (2013), Ismail (2011) dan Khan (2011). (3) komitmen organisasional karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kinerja karyawan PO Rosalia Indah ( koefifien regresi baku 3=0,181; p=0.036<0.05). Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Sani (2013), Chen dan Liu (2012), dan Qureshi (2011).
This research aims to examine the influence of job satisfaction, job stress, and organizational commitment towards employees performance. This research was conducted at PT. Rosalia Indah Surakarta. The sample of this research involves 120 people; however, there are only 114 questionnaires that met the criteria. The sample collection was conducted by employing purposive sampling technique which was performed by following four criteria including: (1) the employee has worked a minimum of 3 years or more, thus they are familiar with companyees policies and procedures; (2) they are not the member of security guards whose job is not closely related to administrative scope, not familiar with targets, and not associated with direct service; (3) they are not the board member who are responsible on policy and decision making, which later gives effects to the employees; and, (4) not the bus crew member, whose job does not cover administrative scope. The data were collected through valid and reliable questionnaires. The hypothesis was examined by employing multiple regression analysis. The result of this research indicates that: (1) the employees job satisfaction shares a positive and significant influence towards the performance of PO Rosalia Indah employees ( coefficients beta 1=0,521; p =0000 < 0.05), which is in accordance with the result of the research conducted by Shaikh (2012), Samyling (2102), Khan, (2011), and Rehman (2011); (2) the employees job stress shares a negative and significant influence towards the performance of PO Rosalia Indah employees coefficients beta 2=-0.206; p = 0.024 < 0.05), which is in accordance with the result of the research conducted by Ahmad (2012), Shaheen (2013), Ismail (2011), and Khan (2011); (3) the employee's organizational commitment shares a positive and significant influence towards the performance of PO Rosalia Indah employees coefficients beta 3= 0,181; p = 0.036 < 0.05), which is in accordance with the result of the research conducted by Sani (2013), Chen and Liu (2012), and Qureshi (2011).
