ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK MASYARAKAT DAN PEMILIHAN MODA DI PERKOTAAN (Studi Kasus Stasiun Pasar Senen, Jakarta)

Stasiun Pasar Senen terletak di Kecamatan Senen, Jakarta Pusat. Stasiun ini berdekatan dengan Terminal Pasar Senen dan Halte Transjakarta. Aktifitas tata guna lahan yang tinggi di kawasan ini menyebabkan nilai tarikan perjalanan menjadi tinggi. Dengan adanya tarikan perjalanan yang tinggi maka masyarakat akan memilih moda yang digunakan menuju stasiun sesuai dengan karakteristiknya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis karakteristik masyarakat dan hubungannya dengan moda transportasi yang dipilih serta mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan responden terhadap angkutan umum di Stasiun Pasar Senen dengan menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis. Survei penelitian dilakukan di ruang tunggu Stasiun Pasar Senen pada bulan Juni sampai Agustus 2015 dengan menyebarkan kuisioner dengan teknik random sampling, jumlah sampel diperoleh dengan rumus Slovin, analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Ms Excel dan SPSS V20. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah karakteristik masyarakat dan hubungannya dengan moda yang dipilih. Berdasarkan metode Importance Performance Analysis diperoleh bahwa waktu tunggu kendaraan, waktu perjalanan dan mengangkut penumpang sesuai kapasitas merupakan indikator yang berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pengguna angkutan umum.

Pasar Senen Train Station is located at Senen district, Central Jakarta. It is adjacent to other transportation stop such as Pasar Senen Bus Station and Transjakarta Stop. The high activity of land use on this area caused high trip attraction. With the existence of high trip attraction, people will choose the mode of transportation that is used to reach the station in accordance with their characteristics. This research aims to determine the characteristics of the community and its relations with mode of transportation selected and to know the factors that influence the satisfaction of respondents to public transport at Pasar Senen Train Station by using Importance Performance Analysis. The survey was conducted at the Pasar Senen Train Station lounge on June until August 2015 by distributing questionnaire using the random sampling technique. The sample amount was obtained by Slovin formula and the analysis was conducted using the Microsoft Excel and SPSS V20. The result obtained from this research is the community characteristic and its relations with the kind of transportation they choosed. The Importance Performance Analysis method shows that the waiting time, travel time and the corresponding capacity on transporting pasenggers are indicators that influence the satisfications of public transportations passengers.
