UNSUR- UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN "WARDATUN FI MU'TAQALIL-KHAYYAMI" KARYA JAMAL JUNAID DALAM KUMPULAN CERPEN WARDATUN FI MU'TAQALIL-KHAYYAMI: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen "Wardatun fi Mu'taqalil-Khayyami" dan keterkaitan antarunsurnya. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton dengan metode analisis struktural. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat di dalam cerpen"Wardatun fi Mu'taqalil-Khayyami" dan keterkaitan antarunsurnya berdasarkan teori struktural Robert Stanton. Unsur-unsur yang dianalisis adalah fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter, alur, dan latar, serta tema, dan sarana cerita yang terdiri atas sudut pandang pengarang, judul, dan simbolisme, serta hubungan antarunsur intrinsik karya tersebut. Dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa tokoh utama yang membawa tema adalah Abbas dengan tokoh tambahan Ibu, teman seperjuangan, sekutu, pihak oposisi, dan sipir penjara. Alur cerpen ini adalah alur maju. Latar tempat cerpen ini adalah kebun mawar, negara Palestina, dan penjara. Tema cerpen ini adalah keterbatasan tidak membuat seseorang berhenti berjuang untuk terus memberikan manfaat serta kebaikan kepada sesama dan tanah airnya. Sarana cerita dalam cerpen ini adalah judul, sudut pandang, dan simbolisme. Cerpen ini diceritakan dengan sudut pandang "orang ketiga" serbatahu. Simbolisme dalam cerpen ini adalah mawar yang melambangkan perjuangan tokoh 'Abbas dalam memerangi penjajahan di negaranya. Masing-masing unsur intrinsik cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan erat antarunsurnya.

This research aims to find out the intrinsic elements in short story "Wardatun fi Mu'taqalil-Khayyami" and the relation among them. The theory apllied in this research is Robert Stanton-structural theory with structural analysis method. The problems are dicussed in this research of "Wardatun fi Mu'taqalil-Khayyami" short story are the intrinsic elements in the short story and the relation among them based on the Robert Stanton-structural theory. The analyzed elements are characters, plot, setting, tittle, point of view, theme, symbolism, and the relation among them in the work. The study conclude that the main character who carries the theme is named Abbas with the minor characters are mother, the friends of Abbas, the opposition, the enemies and the jail guarder. The plot of this short story is progressive. The settings of this story are in the rose garden, in the beach, the moslem country of Palestine and the jail. The theme of this short story is that the limitlessness does not stop someone to do precious struggle to others and his country. The story ways in this short story are tittle, point of view, and symbolism. This short story is told in "third person" knows everything. The symbolism in this short story is rose that is the symbol of struggle of Abbas to fight the colonialism in his country. Every element in this short story has relations to each other thus forming some sort of meaning.
