KENYAMANAN PEJALAN KAKI DALAM MEMANFAATKAN TROTOAR JALAN AHMAD YANI YOGYAKARTA

Trotoar adalah jalur bagi pejalan kaki yang terletak di daerah manfaat jalan, diberi lapis permukaan, diberi elevasi lebih tinggi dari permukaan perkerasan jalan, dan sejajar dengan jalur lalu lintas kendaraan untuk memberi pelayanan kepada pejalan kaki sehingga dapat meningkatkan kelancaraan, keamanan, kenyamanan saat berlalu lintas. Jl. Ahmad Yani merupakan kawasan padat lalu lintas pejalan kaki. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kuesioner. Data didapat dengan menyebarkan formulir kuesioner selama 2 minggu dengan jumlah 200 responden. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakteristik responden, dan kualitas pelayanan serta tingkat kepentingan trotoar saat ini. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tentang karakteristik pejalan kaki, pelaku pergerakan di trotoar Jl. Ahmad Yani didominasi oleh kaum laki-laki. Sebagian besar yang berkunjung adalah yang berumur 17-30 tahun. Pejalan kaki yang menggunakan trotoar Jl. Ahmad Yani merupakan mayoritas seorang mahasiswa/i. Sebagian besar pejalan kaki telah menempuh pendidikan terakhir SLTA/SMA. Aktivitas responden kebanyakan berjalan dalam kelompok dengan jumlah >3 orang. Pejalan kaki didominasi dari luar Kota Yogyakarta. Tujuan pejalan kaki sebagian besar datang untuk piknik/wisata. Pelaku pergerakan mayoritas dengan penghasilan <1 juta dalam sebulan. Berdasarkan keseluruhan data kuesioner pada kualitas pelayanan trotoar dengan 200 responden diperoleh data sangat tidak baik sebesar 303 (6.3%), tidak baik sebesar 1227 (25.6%), cukup baik sebesar 1754 (36.5%), baik sebesar 1359 (28.3%), dan sangat baik sebesar 157 (3.3%). Berdasarkan keseluruhan data kuesioner pada tingkat kepentingan trotoar dengan 200 responden diperoleh data sangat tidak penting sebesar 65 (1.4%), tidak penting sebesar 2206 (45.9%), cukup penting sebesar 950 (19.8%), penting sebesar 132 (2.75%), dan sangat penting sebesar 1447 (30.1%).

Sidewalk is the track for pedestrian located in the benefits of road, given the surface layer, given a higher elevation the surface of road pavement, and parallel with line of traffic and vehicles to provide services to pedestrians so It can increase the continuity, security, comfort of pedestrians when traffic. Ahmad Yani street is an area of dense pedestrian traffic. The methodology used is a questionnaire method. The data can be disseminate the questionnaire form for two weeks with a frequency of 200 respondents. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of pedestrians using the sidewalk Ahmad Yani street, know the quality of service, and the level of importance sidewalk. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of pedestrian is dominated by men. Most of the visit was 17-30 years old. Pedestrian using sidewalk Ahmad Yani street is the majority of students. Most have been studying latest education of senior high school. Activities of the respondents mostly walk in groups in the amount of> 3 people. Pedestrian dominated from outside the city of Yogyakarta. The goal came was for a picnic. The majority of the income <1 million. Based on the overall data on quality of service with 200 respondents was obtained is not very good with 303 (6.3%), not good with 1227 (25.6%), passable with 1754 (36.5%), good with 1359 (28.3%), and very goog with 157 (3.3%).
