sebagai mahasiswa tingkat akhir diwajibkan membuat tugas akhir sebagai syarat kelulusan dan dengan pesatnya perkembangan ilmu otomotif yang merupakan prinsip ilmu yang dipelajari maka penulis memutuskan untuk mengambil judul Rekondisi sistem Bahan Bakar Trainer Toyota Kijang 5K. Dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir ini penulis melewati beberapa proses dalam melakukan pengerjaan tugas akhir. yaitu melakukan pemeriksaan pada mesin Toyota Kijang 5K terutama pada sistem bahan bakar. Proses ini dilakukan agar penulisa dapat menganalisa dan menentukan kondisi dari mesin terutama sistem pengapian, yang selanjutnya penulis dapat menentukan perlakuan dan juga penggantian yang diperlukan pada mesin Toyota Kijang 5K terutama sistem bahan bakar. Pengerjaan tugas akhir ini memiliki tujuan untuk menjadikan trainer kit mesin kembali normal setelah tidak dapat digunakkan selama 1 tahun sehingga dapat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa yang akan mempelajari mesin Toyota Kijang 5K terutama sistem bahan bakar.

Goals and purpose of this final project is to recondition engine trainer that will be used as a learning tools. This final is designed with good planning and consideration so that it can be easily used by the laboratory course. As has been learned previously that internal combustion engines generate energy an project of combustion of fuel and air mixture in the cylinder. On a conventional gasoline engine, fuel and air mixture is done in carburetor before entering the combustion chamber.Of fuction fuel system in to mix the air and fuel and send it in the form of a mist into the combustion chamber. Overday to the advancement of technology, conventional fuel systems start being abandoned and replaced with a fuel injection system for a more efficient and environmentally friendly. The final project is still using a trainer engine still uses conventional fuel systems where conventional system is still working in the mechanical carburetor. After examination it turned out the carburetor is damaged is characterized by the loss of some components. After a replacement of the system can work well.
