Representasi Nilai Sosial Masyarakat Korea : Kajian Sosiologi Sastra Terhadap Komik Lee Su-il Gwa Sim Sun-ae Karya Jo Il-jae

Penelitian ini mengkaji gambaran sosial masyarakat Korea yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai tradisional Konfusianisme dan representasi akan nilai sosial masyarakat Korea. Data utama penelitian ini berupa comic book karya Jo Il-jae yang berjudul Lee Su-il gwa Sim Sun-ae. Teori pokok yang dijadikan acuan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sosiologi sastra Swingewood. Adapun tiga perspektif berkaitan dengan sosiologi sastra yaitu: penelitian yang memandang karya sastra sebagai dokumen sosial yang didalamnya merupakan refleksi situasi pada masa sastra tersebut diciptakan, penelitian yang mengungkap sastra sebagai cermin situasi sosial penulisnya, dan penelitian yang menangkap sastra sebagai manifestasi sejarah dan keadaan sosial budaya. Melalui teori ini dapat dianalisis gambaran nilai sosial dalam masyarakat Korea. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Korea pada zaman penjajahan Jepang menjadi titik balik kesusasteraan modern Korea. Adapun karya kesusasteraan Korea banyak dipengaruhi oleh Jepang dan telah diadaptasi denga kehidupan di Korea. Diketahui pula bahwa nilai-nilai sosial masyarakat Korea terpengaruhi oleh ajaran Konfusianisme yang di dalamnya mengatur perbuatan benar dalam lima hubungan dasar yakni hubungan antara penguasa dan bawahan, ayah dan anak, orang yang lebih tua (kakak) dan orang yang lebih muda(adik), suami dan istri, dan antar teman. Realita kehidupan sosial di dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat tersebut nyatanya tercermin di dalam komik mulai dari penggambaran nilai sosial yang dimiliki oleh pengusaha, mahasiswa, dan rakyat biasa. Nilai-nilai tradisional masyarakat Korea yang tergambar melalui komik ini antara lain bakti anak terhadap orang tua, pentingnya anak laki-laki bagi keluarga Konfusian, memperlakukan satu sama lain dengan kebaikan dan keadilan, teman harus saling setia, junior harus menghormati senior, perempuan wajib mematuhi suami, dan perempuan tidak boleh berkhianat.

This study examines the social picture of Korean society associated with traditional Confucian values and a representation of the value of social Korea. The main data of this study is the work of Jo Il-jae comic book entitled Lee Su-il gwa Sim Sun-ae. Theory staple referenced in this research is a sociological theory of literature Swingewood. The three perspectives related to the sociology of literature, namely: research that regard literature as a social document that includes a literary reflection of the situation at the time it was created, the research literature as a mirror that reveals the social situation of the author, and the research literature as a manifestation captures the history and socio-cultural circumstances, through this theory can be analyzed picture of social values in Korean society. From the research that has been done can be concluded that, at the time of the Japanese occupation of Korea became the turning point of modern Korean literature. As for the Korean literary works heavily influenced by Japan and has been adapted premises of life in Korea. It found that the social values of Korean society influenced by Confucianism in which set right action in five basic relationship that is the relationship between rulers and subordinates, father and son, older people (older brother) and younger people (sister), husband and wife, and between friends. The reality of social life in the community life in fact is reflected in the comics from the depictions of the social value of which is owned by businessmen, students, and ordinary people. Traditional values of Korean society is depicted through comics, among others, filial piety towards parents, the importance of boys for a Confucian family, treat each other with kindness and justice, should be mutually faithful friend, juniors should respect seniors, women are obliged to comply husbands, and women should not be betrayed.
