UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN ASY-SYAHID DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN ARINI ALLAH KARYA TAUFIQ AL-HAKIM: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL ROBERT STANTON

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengungkap unsur-unsur intrinsik dan keterkaitan antarunsur dalam cerpen asy-Syahid dalam antologi cerpen Arini Allah karya Taufiq al-Hakim. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural Stanton. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis struktural. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. Tema cerpen ini adalah Iblis Iblis sebagai penggoda manusia di Bumi merupakan ketetapan Tuhan sampai akhir zaman. Tokoh utama dalam cerpen asy-Syahid adalah Iblis. Adapun tokoh tambahannya adalah Paus, Rabbi Yahudi, Syaikh al-Azhar, dan Jibril. Alur yang terdapat dalam cerpen ini berdasarkan urutan waktunya adalah alur progresif (lurus). Alur dimulai dari penyituasian, pemunculan konflik, peningkatan konflik, klimaks, dan penyelesaian. Latar tempat dalam cerpen ini, yaitu istana Paus di Vatikan Roma, tempat bertemunya Iblis dengan Rabbi Yahudi dan Syaikh al-Azhar, dan langit. Latar waktu dalam cerpen ini adalah pada saat menjelang hari raya Natal. Latar sosial berhubungan dengan tokoh-tokoh tambahan, yaitu Paus, Rabbi Yahudi, dan Syaikh al-Azhar. Mereka adalah para pemuka agama. Judul cerpen ini mengacu pada tema dan tokoh utama. Adapun sudut pandang yang digunakan pada cerpen ini adalah orang ketiga tak terbatas. Keterkaitan antarunsurnya terlihat pada tema dengan tokoh, tema dengan alur, alur dengan tokoh, dan judul dengan tokoh utama. Unsur-unsur dalam cerpen ini saling berkaitan satu dengan lainnya sehingga diperoleh makna yang utuh dari cerpen tersebut.

The objective of this research is to reveal intrinsic elements of short story asy-Syahid in Arini Allah anthology by Taufiq al-Hakim and the relation among the elements. The theory applied in this research is Stanton-structural theory. The applied method of this research is structural-analysis method. The theme of asy-Syahid is the devil as a teaser of human on earth are ordinances of the God until the end of time. Based on this short story, Iblis (the Devil) as main character. The secondary characters are Pope, Rabbi, Syaikh al-Azhar, and Gabriel the angel. A plot of this story is progressive. Plot started from situation, generating circumstances, rising action, climax, and denouenment. The setting of this story occurs at the palace of Pope in Vatikan Rome, the place of Rabbi and Syaikh al-Azhar, and the sky. A setting of time in this story occurs at Christmas eve. A social background related to the secondary characters are Pope, Rabbi, and Syaikh al-Azhar. They are the religious leaders. The title story is related to the theme story and main character. This short story attracts third side person point of view. Relationship of the elements are theme with characters, theme with plot, plot with characters, and title with main characters. Intrinsic elements of this short story have a strong correlation each other to produce coherent ideas.
