ANALISIS FORECASTING JUMLAH PENGUNJUNG BALAI BESAR KERAJINAN DAN BATIK

Peramalan atau forecasting adalah perkiraan mengenai sesuatu yang akan terjadi di masa mendatang. Peramalan (forecasting) bertujuan untuk meminimumkan pengaruh ketidakpastian yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan, dalam hal ini berarti bahwa peramalan (forecast) berfungsi untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai trend yang akan terjadi pada masa mendatang serta bermanfaat untuk mendapatkan perkiraan yang dapat meminimumkan kesalahan dalam peramalan. Adanya fungsi dari peramalan (forecast) tersebut maka peramalan (forecast) dijadikan sebagai salah satu masukan dalam pembuatan rencana dan menjadi referensi dalam menentukan kebijakan manajemen khususnya dalam hal pencapaian target di masa mendatang. Terdapat beberapa metode peramalan namun dalam peramalan pada penulisan ini menggunakan Trend Least Square. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui trend jumlah pengunjung Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik selama 5 tahun ke depan yaitu tahun 2016 hingga 2020. Sampel data yang digunakan dalam peramalan jumlah pengunjung Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik yaitu data jumlah pengunjung Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik selama 10 tahun terakhir (2005-2015). Berdasarkan hasil peramalan yang dilakukan, hasil dari peramalan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pengunjung Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik untuk 5 tahun ke depan mengalami peningkatan dengan pertumbuhan rata-rata per tahun sebesar 6,3 %.

Forecasting is the prediction of something that happen in the future. The purpose of forecasting activity is to minimize the fault and unpredictable thing in the future that face by a company. In this case, forecasting function is to give a prediction about future trend and also usable to decrease error intensity on forecasting. Therefore, forecasting become as one of the arrangement strategy references and has the role on company decision making especially on how to achive the goal in the future or future target. There are many forecasting method, but in this research the writer choose to used Trend Least Square method because of its quite easy to apply and appropriate enough in this case. The purpose of this research is to know the trend of Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik visitors for 5 years in the future. Data sample that used in this consist of the number of Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik visitors for past 10 years. Based on the forecasting about Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik visitors, the result show that the number of Balai Besar Kerajinan dan Batik visitors for 5 years in the future increasing with the growth rate during 5 years about 6,3 percent in every year.
