INTERAKSI ANTARA GURU DAN MURID DI SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM FILM MONSIEUR LAZHAR KARYA PHILIPPE FALARDEAU

Objek materi dalam skripsi ini adalah film yang berjudul Monsieur Lazhar karya Philippe Falardeau. Skripsi ini berfokus untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang dialami murid di sebuah sekolah dasar seperti yang tergambar di dalam film, selain itu juga untuk melihat peran yang dilakukan guru dalam membantu murid mengatasi permasalahannya. Sebelum dikaji dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi pendidikan, film Monsieur Lazhar diteliti terlebih dahulu menggunakan analisis kajian sinema untuk mengetahui lebih dalam gambaran pendidikan di sekolah dasar di dalam film. Analisis kajian sinema pada penelitian ini hanya menitikberatkan pada aspek naratif saja termasuk tokoh, latar, dan alur. Pendekatan sosiologi pendidikan dilakukan untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang dialami murid dan melihat bagaimana peran guru dalam mengendalikan proses pendidikan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa beberapa tokoh murid di sekolah dasar di dalam film mengalami berbagai permasalahan. Permasalahan murid kemudian diketahui terbagi menjadi dua, yakni permasalahan dengan diri sendiri dan permasalahan dengan orang lain. Peran guru kemudian terlihat melalui interaksi yang dilakukan secara kependidikan dan sosial di dalam usaha guru membantu murid mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.

The material object of this undergraduate thesis is the film entitled Monsieur Lazhar by Philippe Falardeau. This undergraduate thesis focused on knowing the elementary students' problems in the school captured on the film. Besides, this undergraduate thesis aims to know the role of teachers in helping their students' problems based on the film. Before analyzing by using sociology of education approach, the film first analyzed using cinema study. Cinema study analysis in this undergraduate thesis focused only on the narrative aspect of the film, including character and characterization, setting, and plot. Sociology of education approach is used to know the problems that experienced by the students and the role that shown by the teacher in order to help students tide over those problems. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that in the film of Monsieur Lazhar, some of elementary students experienced various problems in the school. Those problems are divided into two categories, first are the problems dealing with their own individual and second are the problems dealing with others. The role of the teachers on this case then can be seen by their interaction with students through educational and social interactions.
