PREFERENSI PEMUKIM PERUMAHAN SIDOREJO TERHADAP LOKASI TEMPAT TINGGAL DI DESA NGESTIHARJO KECAMATAN KASIHAN KABUPATEN BANTUL

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Perumahan Sidorejo Desa Ngestiharjo Kecamatan Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui karakteristik pemukim Perumahan Sidorejo dan (2) preferensi pemukim Perumahan Sidorejo terhadap lokasi tempat tinggal di Desa Ngestiharjo Kecamatan Kasihan Kabupaten Bantul. Penentuan responden dilakukan menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Jumlah responden yang digunakan adalah 30 orang kepala keluarga yang tinggal di Perumahan Sidorejo. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tabel frekuensi untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan preferensi pemukim Perumahan Sidorejo, Desa Ngestiharjo, Kecamatan Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) karakteristik kepala keluarga di Perumahan Sidorejo didominasi oleh usia diatas 50 tahun dan telah tinggal di Perumahan Sidorejo lebih dari 9 tahun. Berdasarkan jumlah anggota keluarga yang paling dominan adalah antara 3 � 4 orang dan tingkat pendidikan kepala keluarga didominasi sarjana. Pekerjaan kepala keluarga di Perumahan Sidorejo didominasi sebagai Pegawai Swasta dan Pensiunan. Penghasilan atau pendapatan rata-rata perbulan kepala keluarga di Perumahan Sidorejo tertinggi adalah diatas Rp 3.500.000 dan tingkat pengeluaran kepala keluarga didominasi oleh kepala keluarga yang mempunyai pengeluaran rata-rata perbulan lebih dari Rp 3.500.000. (2) Preferensi kepala keluarga dalam memilih Perumahan Sidorejo sebagai lokasi tempat tinggal adalah berdasarkan faktor-faktor yaitu kedekatan jarak Perumahan Sodorejo dengan tempat kerja, dan jalan utama; fasilitas perumahan seperti jaringan listrik, jaringan air bersih, saluran pembuangan air kotor/limbah, saluran pembuangan air hujan dan tempat ibadah serta faktor lingkungan Perumahan Sidorejo seperti udara yang sejuk, bebas dari banjir, bebas tanah longsor, jauh dari pabrik dan keamanan serta kualitas bangunan. Selain itu, penghasilan keluarga dan kemudahan administrasi kepemilikan rumah juga menjadi faktor pertimbangan sangat penting dalam memilih Perumahan Sidorejo sebagai lokasi tempat tinggal.

This research was conducted at Sidorejo Housing in Ngestiharjo, Kasihan Sub-district, Bantul Regency. The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the characteristics of Sidorejo Housing residents and (2) Sidorejo Housing residents preference to the settlement location in Ngestiharjo, Kasihan Sub-district, Bantul Regency. The respondents of research were determined through simple random sampling technique. They consisted of 30 heads of households who settle in Sidorejo Housing. The data of research were conducted by using the frequency table so as to investigate the characteristics of Sidorejo Housing residents and their preference to the settlement location in Ngestiharjo, Kasihan Sub-district, Bantul Regency. The results of research are as follows: 1) The heads of households who settle in Sidorejo Housing are dominantly aged more than 50 years old and have settled there for more than 9 years. The dominant number of family members ranges from 3 to 4 persons, and the dominant educational level of the heads of households is bachelor degree. The dominant occupations of the heads of households are private employees and pensioners. The highest average income per month of the heads of households is Rp3,500,000. The highest average expenditure of the heads of households is dominated by those who have monthly average expenditure of more than Rp3,500,000. 2) The preference of the heads of households to choosing Sidorejo Housing as the settlement location is due to the following factors, namely: its distance to workplace main road; its housing facilities: electricity network, clean water network, domestic sewage system, rain water sewer system, and worship place; and its environmental conditions: cool or fresh air, flood-free, landslide-free, far from factories, security, and construction quality. In addition, the family income and the ease of home ownership administration also become their very important consideration factors for choosing Sidorejo Housing as the settlement location.
