ANALISA KEGAGALAN DAN PERAWATAN STAIRWAY EXCAVATOR HITACHI 2500-6

Excavator Hitachi 2500-6 merupakan unit yang besar diantara unit Hitachi yang lain. Jarak tanah dengan lantai dasar setinggi 2,23 meter akan sulit dijangkau operator atau mekanik tanpa bantuan alat. Untuk menjangkau ruang operator dibutuhkan alat bantu yang sudah didesain oleh Hitachi yaitu sistem tangga (stairway). Sistem stairway juga memerlukan perawatan agar unit dapat bekerja dengan baik, namun dalam manual book belum ada analisa kegagalan (troubleshooting) dan perawatan yang perlu dilakukan terhadap sistem stairway. Oleh karena itu perlu dibahas tentang troubleshooting dan perawatan yang perlu dilakukan terhadap sistem stairway. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah mengumpulkan data dari studi literatur, pengamatan tentang perawatan Alat Berat dan wawancara kepada mekanik dan foreman. Hal ini membantu untuk mengetahui masalah yang terjadi pada system stairway. Tugas akhir menunjukkan bahwa mekanik membutuhkan panduan tentang analisa kegagalan (troubleshooting) dan perawatan sistem stairway. Panduan tersebut akan meminimalkan berhentinya unit, kerusakan yang dapat diselesaikan secara cepat, dan kerusakan yang dapat diminimalkan. Selain itu, checklist pemeriksaan sistem stairway dibutuhkan pada saat servis.

ABSTRACT Hitachi excavator 2500-6 is a big unit among other Hitachi unit. The distance between ground and unit floor is 2.23 meters. It would be difficult to go to the floor for the operator or mechanic without tools. So, the operators need ladder or stairway to go to the floor in upperstructure. The stairway system has been designed by Hitachi. The stairway system requires maintenance in order to work well, but the troubleshooting and the maintenance of the tool has not written yet in the manual guideline book. Therefore, it needs to be explained about the troubleshooting and the maintenance guidelines of stairway system in this study. There are some methods used in this study. The first is doing observation to collect data according to the condition of Hitachi excavator unit. The second method is interview, this method is used to get information from the experienced mechanics and foreman for completing data. The third method is collecting data based on the literature. The last is doing problems investigation of the stairway systems. The study shows that the mechanics need guidelines book of stairway system troubleshooting and maintenance. The guidelines will minimize the breakdown of unit, the trouble can be solved quickly, and the damaged can be minimized. Thus, stairway inspection checklist needs to be done at the time of maintenance schedule.
