RANCANG BANGUN PLUGIN UNTUK SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK DENGAN AJAX DAN WEB SERVICES

Seluruh PTN dan PTS di bawah Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional memiliki database epsbed. Pada setiap semesternya perguruan tinggi wajib melaporkan database epsbed ke Dikti baik PTN maupun PTS melalui Kopertis wilayah masing-masing. Dengan database epsbed, akan dirancang sistem yang menjembatani perguruan tinggi untuk mendapatkan sistem informasi akademik serta pengiriman laporan semester ke Dikti. Sistem informasi kampus dapat dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan data epsbed yang dimiliki oleh perguruan tinggi dan diintegrasikan dengan fasilitas plugin wordpress. Sistem dibangun dengan mengunakan wordpress sebagai aplikasi utama dan Ajax dan jQuery untuk mempermudah dalam mentransformasikan data transaksi (data source) untuk kebutuhan proses upload data, export data dan fasilitas pada wp-siakad. Model komunikasi XML SOAP dan JSON dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membuat web service client push data ke PDPT untuk mengirim data pelaporan semester ke Dikti. Pemanfaatan Ajax dan jQuery dengan model komunikasi JSON dapat digunakan untuk membuat web service pencarian data mahasiswa.

All of state university and private university under ministry of education and culture have epsbed database. On every semester, either private or state university has to submit the epsbed database to the directorate of education. With epsbed database, the system will become the bridge for the university to obtain the academic information system as well as the delivery of the semester report to the directorate of education. The academic information system can be developed by optimizing the epsbed database from the university and integrated it with the wordpress plugin facility. The system is built using wordpress as the main application. Ajax and jQuery are used to transform the transaction data (data source) for data upload, export data and the facility in wp-epsbed. XML SOAP and JSON communication model can be used for making the web serviceclientpush data for PDPT for sending the semester report data to directorate of education. The utilization of Ajax and jQuery with JSON communication model can be used for making students’ data search web service.
