Pengaruh big five personality dan procedural justice terhadap organizational citizenship behavior

Big Five personality memiliki pengaruh terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). OCB sangat penting karena perilaku yang melebihi dari peran di tempat kerja akan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yang pertama untuk mengetahui pengaruh Big Five personality dan procedural justice terhadap OCB. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Garuda Indonesia Airways di Jakarta Pusat. Sampel sebanyak 105 karyawan dipilih secara convenience sampling. Pada penelitian ini digunakan tiga kuesioner. Pengukuran personality menggunakan Five Factor Personality Test yang dikembangkan oleh Buchanan, et at. (2005). OCB menggunakan kuesioner yang dikembangkan oleh Podsakoff yang diambil dari penel itian Markoczy dan Xin (2004). Kemudian untuk kuesioner procedural justice menggunakan kuesioner yang dikembangkan oleh Byrne yang diambil dari penelitian Kamdar, et a/. (2006). Data diolah menggunakan program SPSS 15. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi lin ier berganda, uji t dan uji F. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen yang telah digunakan oleh penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya, sehingga validitas dan reliabilitasnya dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Kuesioner dalam penelitian ini sudah terstandardisasi, maka uji validitas dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada content validity (validitas isi). Hasil analisis regresi melalui SP 15.0 diperoleh F hitung sebesar 43,592 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa pengaruh regresi tersebut adalah signifikan. Hal ini berarti ada pengaruh positif dari Big Five personality dan procedural justice terhadap OCB. Besarnya nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa 72,7% varians dalam variabel OCB dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel Big Five personality dan procedural justice, sisanya 27,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. This research is about the influence of Big Five personality and procedural justice to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Big Five personality has effects to OCB. OCB is considered important because the behavior which goes beyond existing formal role expectations in the workplace can improve company's effectiveness. The first purpose of this research was to find out influences of Big Five personality and procedural justice to OCB. Sample in this research were the employees of PT Garuda Indonesia Airways in Jakarta. Using convenience sampling method chose one hundred and five employees. Using Five Factor Personality Test developed by Buchanan, et a/. (2005), assessed personality factors. OCB was assessed by questionnaires developed by Podsakoff taken from the research of Markoczy and Xin (2004). Procedural Justice was assessed by questionnaires developed by Byrne taken from the research of Kamdar, et a/. (2006). The data was assessed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) release 15.0 for windows. Analysis is conducted by using multiple linier regression, t-test and F-test. This research applied the instruments that had been used by the earlier researchers, so that its validity and reliability can be justified. The questionnaires in this research are standardized, so the validity test in this research is based on the content validity. The result of multiple linier regression analysis through SPSS 15.0 showed that F-test is 43,592 with the significance level 0,000 < 0,05. Therefore, the regression's influence is significant. It means that there is positive influence of Big Five personality and procedural justice to OCB. Determinant Coefficient showed that 72,7% variances in OCB variables can be explained by Big Five personality and procedural justice variables, and the rest 27,3% may be influenced by other variables which are not discussed in this research.
