HUBUNGAN FAKTOR FUNGSI DAN KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA KEPANITERAAN TERHADAP KEPUASAN PASIEN PEMAKAI GIGI TIRUAN LENGKAP (Kajian pada Pasien di Klinik Kepaniteraan Prostodonsia FKG UGM)

Kepuasan pasien adalah tanggapan pasien atas terpenuhinya pelayanan kesehatan yang dibutuhkannya. Kepuasan pasien terhadap gigi tiruan lengkap (GTL) dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yaitu fungsi pengunyahan, fungsi estetika fungsi bicara dan kemampuan dokter gigi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara fungsi pengunyahan, estetika, bicara dan kemampuan mahasiswa kepaniteraan terhadap kepuasan pasien pemakai gigi tiruan lengkap yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa kepaniteraan FKG UGM sebagai calon dokter gigi. Kuesioner yang berisi 24 pertanyaan disebar pada 74 subyek penelitian yaitu pasien pemakai GTL dari klinik kepaniteraan prostodonsia di Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Prof. Soedomo Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Gadjah Mada. Sebelumnya dilakukan Uji validitas (Pearson Product Moment) dan uji reliabilitas (Alpha Croanbach) terhadap 30 subyek penelitian. Kemudian analisis dilanjutkan dengan melakukan uji normalitas (Chi-Sguare) dan uji korelasi Pearson Product Momeni. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa faktor fungsi pengunyahan, fungsi estetika, fungsi bicara, dan kemampuan mahasiswa kepaniteraan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan (p « 0,05) dengan tingkat korelasi sedang terhadap kepuasan pasien pemakai GTL di klinik kepaniteraan prostodonsia FKG UGM. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara fungsi pengunyahan, estetika, bicara dan kemampuan mahasiwa kepaniteraan terhadap kepuasan pasien pemakai gigi tiruan lengkap yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa kepaniteraan FKG UGM.

Patient satisfaction is a response of patients towards their healthcare needs fulfillment. Patient satisfaction of complete denture can be influenced by a variety of factors, such as, the function of mastication, aesthetic, fonetic and dentist capability. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of mastication function, aesthetics, fonetic, and clinical students capability against the patient satisfaction of complete denture made by prosthodontics clinical students of Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Gadjah Mada as a prospective dentist. A guestionnaire contains 24 guestions spread to 74 respondents who wear complete denture made by prosthodontics clinical students in RSGM Prof. Soedomo Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Gadjah Mada. Validity test using Pearson Product Moment and reliability test using Alpha Croanbach was done to data collected from 30 respondents. The analysis continued with normality test using Chi-Sguare and the last step is correlation test using Pearson Product moment . This study found out that mastication function, aesthetics function, fonetic function, and clinical students capability have a significant relationship (p « 0.05) at the moderate level towards satisfaction of patient wWho wear complete denture made by prosthodontics clinical students. The conclusion of this study is there was a relationship of mastication function, aesthetics function, fonetic function, and clinical students capability towards patient satisfaction of complete denture made by prosthodontics clinical students of Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Gadjah Mada.
