perancangan vibration shaking rig tiga derajat kebebasan translasi berbasis
keenam derajat kebebasan tanpa mengalami singularitas gerak. Gerakan rotasi
menjadi dasar penentuan batas aman (safety margin) stroke aktuator fisik.
Railway vibration caused by track and wheel irregularities affects passenger comfort and operational safety. The Intelligent Railway Vibration Monitoring System (IRV-MS) has been developed to detect such vibration in real time, but it still requires a controlled test rig to verify sensor accuracy against a repeatable excitation source. Previous shaking-rig prototypes were limited to one or two axes of motion, which cannot represent the multi-directional nature of real irregularities. This study proposes the design of a three-degrees-of freedom (translational) vibration shaking rig based on a 6-DoF Stewart Platform mechanism, actuated by six linear motors and magnetic ball joints. The design parameters were set at a moving mass of 8 kg, an operating frequency range of 0-30 Hz and a peak amplitude of 10 mm. A comparative selection process identified an ironless linear motor (type LMCB5) and a magnetic ball joint (type KD-725) as the most suitable actuator and connector, owing to their direct-drive response, absence of cogging force, and adequate pull force. Inverse-kinematics simulation of the platform geometry showed that the mechanism can reproduce sinusoidal excitation on all six degrees of freedom without singularity. Rotational motions (roll and pitch) required a substantially larger actuator stroke (up to 72.9 mm) than pure translations (20-25.8 mm), which was used to define the safety margin for the physical actuator stroke. The resulting design and simulation data provide a validated baseline for manufacturing the physical rig and for future comparison with field-recorded IRV-MS acceleration data.
