Pseudomonas sp. and Sphingomonas sp. are Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) proven to enhance plant tolerance against heavy metal stress. This study aimed to evaluate the growth response, plant biomass, and phytostabilization potential of Brassica juncea singly inoculated with either Pseudomonas sp. or Sphingomonas sp. under copper (Cu) polluted conditions. This study used a factorial completely randomized design with inoculation treatments and Cu exposure concentrations (0, 30, and 60 ppm) in a regosol medium. The testing stages included biomass evaluation, Tolerance Index (TI) measurement, Translocation Factor (TF) calculation, and post-harvest inoculant viability testing. The results showed that bacterial inoculation was able to maintain total biomass and significantly increase the Root-Shoot Ratio (RSR).
