pengembangan berbagai soft skills, seperti kepemimpinan, tanggung jawab,
komunikasi, kerja sama tim, kepercayaan diri, dan manajemen waktu. Soft
This study aims to analyze how student involvement in the
Paramadaya student organization functions as a learning process and contributes
to the development of soft skills. This research employs a qualitative approach
with an ethnographic method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews
and observations of organizational activities, such as routine rehearsals,
meetings, and performance preparations.
The findings show that student organizations serve as
experiential and participatory learning spaces. Students’ motivation to join
and engage is influenced by intrinsic factors, such as an interest in music and
a desire for self-development, as well as extrinsic factors, including social
environment and exposure to organizational activities. As involvement becomes more
intensive, this motivation evolves from personal interest into collective
commitment, particularly when students take on leadership or managerial roles.
Participation in Paramadaya also contributes to the
development of various soft skills, such as leadership, responsibility,
communication, teamwork, self-confidence, and time management. These skills are
formed through direct experience, social interaction, and reflection on
organizational dynamics. Therefore, student organizations function not only as
activity platforms but also as learning spaces that complement formal
education.
