REPRESENTASI GANGGUAN SKIZOFRENIA PADA TOKOH KIRIGOE MIMA DALAM FILM P?FEKUTO BUR?: ANALISIS PSIKOLOGI ABNORMAL BARLOW & DURAND

Penelitian ini menganalisis gangguan psikologis yang dialami tokoh Mima dalam film P?fekuto Bur? karya Satoshi Kon dengan menggunakan teori psikologi abnormal David H. Barlow dan V. Mark Durand yang berfokus pada skizofrenia. Film ini menceritakan bagaimana tokoh Mima yang mengalami tekanan secara berkelanjutan mengalami gangguan psikologis berupa skizofrenia.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa deskriptif kualitatif dalam menganalisis tema dan fakta cerita, kemudian mengidentifikasi gejala gangguan psikologis yang ditampilkan tokoh Mima serta penyebab dari gejala tersebut.

Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gangguan psikologis yang dialami tokoh Mima merupakan skizofrenia dengan gejala positif berupa delusi dan halusinasi tipe auditori dan visual. Selain itu, ditemukan juga gejala negatif yang ditampilkan berupa afek datar dan avolisi. Penyebab dari gangguan skizofrenia yang dialami tokoh Mima merupakan faktor psikologi berupa kerentanan psikologis (diathesis) yang kemudian berinteraksi dengan faktor sosial berupa tekanan lingkungan (stress). Melalui representasi tersebut, film P?fekuto Bur? memperlihatkan bahwa gangguan psikologis merupakan hasil interaksi kompleks antara kondisi internal individu dan lingkungan sosial yang melingkupinya. Faktor sosial berupa stressor yang berasal dari lingkungan berpotensi mengaktifkan kerentanan internal individu dan menyebabkan terjadinya gangguan psikologis, salah satunya skizofrenia.

This research analyzes the psychological disorder experienced by the character Mima in the film P?fekuto Bur? by Satoshi Kon using David H. Barlow and V. Mark Durand's theory of abnormal psychology, focusing on schizophrenia. The film tells the story of how Mima, who experiences continuous pressure, gradually develops a psychological disorder in the form of schizophrenia.

The research method used in this study employs a qualitative descriptive in analyzing the themes and the story facts, then analyzing the symptoms of psychological disorders displayed by the character Mima and the causes of these symptoms.

The results of the study show that the psychological disorder experienced by the character Mima is schizophrenia with positive symptoms, namely delusions and auditory and visual type hallucinations. The negative symptoms displayed are flat affect and avolition. The cause of the schizophrenia experienced by the character Mima are related to psychological factors in the form of psychological vulnerability (diathesis) which then interacts with social factors in the form of environmental pressure (stress). Through this portrayal, P?fekuto Bur? shows that psychological disorders are the result of a complex interaction between an individual’s internal state and their surrounding social environment. Social factors in the form of stressors originating from the environment, have the potential to activate an individual’s internal vulnerabilities and lead to the development of psychological disorders, one of them including schizophrenia.
