Binadamai Melalui Revitalisasi Pariwisata: Reintegrasi Eks Kombatan FARC Pasca Perjanjian Damai 2016 di Kolombia

Penelitian ini membahas upaya binadamai melalui revitalisasi pariwisata pascakonflik dengan fokus pada inisiatif pariwisata oleh eks kombatan Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) di Kolombia pasca Perjanjian Damai 2016. Menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana reintegrasi eks kombatan melalui pariwisata berkontribusi terhadap proses transformasi konflik dalam kerangka binadamai kritis. Landasan konseptual yang digunakan mencakup pendekatan kritis dalam binadamai, kontinuum perdamaian melalui pariwisata oleh Farmaki, serta dimensi transformasi konflik oleh Lederach yang meliputi aspek personal, relasional, struktural, dan kultural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa revitalisasi pariwisata memberikan ruang bagi eks kombatan untuk mendorong perubahan konstruktif, dengan kontribusi paling signifikan ditemukan pada tingkat personal melalui pembangunan identitas baru sebagai warga produktif. Meskipun demikian, pada tingkat relasional, struktural, dan kultural, praktik pariwisata ini masih menghadapi tantangan berupa stigma sosial dan keterbatasan geografis, sehingga belum mampu menjadi penggerak utama yang signifikan dalam proses perdamaian nasional di Kolombia.

This research examines peacebuilding efforts through post-conflict tourism revitalization, focusing on tourism initiatives led by ex-combatants of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) in Colombia following the 2016 Peace Agreement. Utilizing a qualitative methodology with a case study approach, the study analyzes how the reintegration of ex-combatants through tourism contributes to conflict transformation within a critical peacebuilding framework. The conceptual framework incorporates critical approaches to peacebuilding, the peace-tourism continuum by Farmaki, and Lederach’s dimensions of conflict transformation, which encompass personal, relational, structural, and cultural aspects. The findings indicate that tourism revitalization provides a platform for ex-combatants to foster constructive change, with the most significant impact observed at the personal level through the construction of new identities as productive members of society. However, at the relational, structural, and cultural levels, these tourism practices still face challenges such as social stigma and geographical constraints, thus they have not yet become a significant primary driver for the national peace process in Colombia.
