Pemanfaatan Aplikasi GOBIS Suroboyo dalam Implementasi Smart Mobility di Kota Surabaya

Aplikasi GOBIS Suroboyo merupakan aplikasi terintegrasi untuk pelayanan publik transportasi umum berbasis platform mobile oleh Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya. Kemajuan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) melatarbelakangi pengembangan aplikasi ini. Pada awalnya, aplikasi ini hanya terkhusus untuk tracking lokasi transportasi umum Suroboyo Bus, seiring berjalannya Waktu aplikasi ini difungkinan sebagai aplikasi layanan transportasi umum Kota Surabaya untuk mengakses informasi seputar Suroboyo Bus dan Wira-wiri seperti informasi rute & koridor, live tracking armada, pembelian tiket, dan peta integrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan aplikasi GOBIS Suroboyo dalam mendukung smart mobility di Kota Surabaya dan dampak dari adanya aplikasi GOBIS terhadap masyarakat dalam kemajuan transportasi publik. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengupulan data primer menggunakan wawacara mendalam (in-depth interview), kuesioner, serta observasi lapangan. Sedangkan untuk data sekunder diperloreh dengan eksplorasi dan dokumentasi fitur dan layanan yang ada pada aplikasi GOBIS Suroboyo.

Aplikasi GOBIS sebagai sistem informasi bagi pengguna, digunakan untuk mengakses informasi layanan Suroboyo bus dan Wira-wiri serta untuk acuan dalam merencakanan perjalanan pengguna Suroboyo bus dan Wira-wiri. Fitur tracking lokasi kendaraan dan informasi perjalanan merupakan yang paling sering digunakan. Fitur-fitur lain yang ada saling melengkapi sehingga walaupun ada kendala pada koneksi yang menyebabkan informasi telat diterima fitur yang ada sudah memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Dampak positifnya adalah aplikasi yang sudah informatif membantu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi para penggunanya. Disisi lain, Ketika tidak menggunakan aplikasi akan mendapatkan dampak kurangnya efektivitas dan efisiensi serta penguranagan partisipasi dalam program lingkungan.

GOBIS Suroboyo application is an integrated mobile platform-based public transportation service application developed by the Surabaya City Transportation Department. The advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is the driving force behind the development of this application. Initially, the application was designed solely for tracking the location of the Suroboyo Bus public transportation then evolved to become a comprehensive public transportation service for Surabaya, providing access to information about Suroboyo Bus and Feeder services, including route & corridor information, live tracking, ticket purchasing, and route integration maps. This research aims to explore how the GOBIS Suroboyo application supports smart mobility in Surabaya and to assess the impact of the application on the community in the development of public transportation. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, with primary data collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and field observations. Secondary data were obtained by exploring and documenting the features and services available in the GOBIS Suroboyo application.

GOBIS as an information system, enabling to access information of Suroboyo Bus and Feeder services and to plan their trips effectively. The vehicle location tracking and travel information features are the most frequently used. Other features complement each other, ensuring that even when there are connection issues causing delays in receiving information, the available features still meet users' needs. The positive impact is that the informative application helps increase the effectiveness and efficiency of its users. On the other hand, not using the application results in reduced effectiveness and efficiency, as well as a decrease in participation in environmental programs.
