Tipologi Pengembangan Simpul Aktivitas Kawasan Kota Pangkalpinang Berdasarkan Node-Place Model

Kota Pangkalpinang merupakan ibu kota Provinsi Bangka Belitung yang memiliki lokasi strategis sebagai kota transit. Kota Pangkalpinang juga memiliki peran penting sebagai pusat perkantoran, administrasi, ekonomi dan transportasi di Pulau Bangka. Status Kota Pangkalpinang sebagai Ibukota Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, pusat kegiatan wilayah dan pusat aktivitas perkantoran, administrasi, ekonomi dan transportasi di Pulau Bangka. Oleh karena itu kebutuhan atas pengembangan simpul-simpul aktivitas yang bersinergi dengan transportasi publik menjadi sangat penting, karena kondisi saat ini Kota Pangkalpinang memiliki angkot sebagai transportasi publik tetapi tidak menjadi pilihan utama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan empirical analytic berdasarkan analisis Node-Place Model untuk menidentifikasi kondisi simpul-simpul aktivitas yang terjadi serta menyeimbangkan antara node (jaringan transportasi publik) dan place (tempat yang potensial terjadinya interaksi dan aktivitas antar manusia) atau aktivitas landuse. Karena node-place model merupakan konsep yang digunakan untuk menganalisis dan menyeimbangkan dua elemen penting dalam pengembangan kota, yaitu node dan place. Konsep ini dikembangkan untuk memahami bagaimana interaksi antara sistem transportasi dan penggunaan lahan dapat mempengaruhi mobilitas penduduk dan pengembangan kawasan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bawa pola mobilitas yang terjadi di Kota Pangkalpinang memiliki pola yang terpusat pada simpul-simpul aktivitas berupa komplek perkantoran, pendidikan, rekreasi, permukiman serta kawasan perdagangan dan jasa. Tipologi pengembangannya mengarah pada peningkatan titik transit, ketersediaan parkir, jalur pedestrian, jumlah penduduk serta peningkatan infrastruktur dalam mendukung kawasan berorientasi transit.

Pangkalpinang City is the capital of Bangka Belitung Province which has a strategic location as a transit city. Pangkalpinang City also has an important role as a center for offices, administration, economy and transportation on Bangka Island. Pangkalpinang City's status as the Capital of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, the center of regional activities and the center of office, administration, economy and transportation activities on Bangka Island. Therefore, the need for the development of activity nodes that synergize with public transportation is very important, because the current condition of Pangkalpinang City has public transportation but it is not the main choice. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using an empirical analytic approach based on Node-Place Model analysis to identify the conditions of activity nodes that occur and balance between nodes (public transportation networks) and places (potential places for interaction and activity between humans) or land use activities. Because the node-place model is a concept used to analyze and balance two important elements in urban development, namely nodes and places. This concept was developed to understand how the interaction between transportation systems and land use can affect population mobility and regional development. This study concludes that mobility patterns in Pangkalpinang City are centered around activity hubs, including office complexes, educational institutions, recreational areas, residential areas, and trade and service areas. The development typology focuses on increasing transit points, parking availability, pedestrian paths, population growth, and infrastructure improvements to support transit-oriented areas.
