Community Health Centers (Puskesmas), as providers of primary healthcare services, have begun adapting to advancements in information system technology. The implementation of information systems in Puskesmas serves as an effort to deliver healthcare services more effectively and efficiently, including in the area of pharmaceutical management. Evaluating user satisfaction with these systems is crucial to ensure optimal performance and alignment with user needs. This study aims to assess the level of user satisfaction with the Puskesmas Management Information System (SIMPUS) in the context of drug management at community health centers in the district..
This research is a quantitative analytical study using a cross-sectional approach. Quantitative data were obtained using a validated questionnaire based on the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method with indicators of content, accuracy, form, ease of use, timeliness, and user satisfaction, consisting of 24 questions. Data were collected from 65 respondents who are medication managers at community health centers in Klaten District who use SIMPUS for medication management. Data were analyzed using SPSS with a Likert scale. A hypothesis is considered significant if the sig. value is < 0>
The results showed that SIMPUS user satisfaction was in the “very satisfied” category (mean 4.231). The content (4.32) and ease of use (4.233) variables were in the “very satisfied” category. The accuracy (3.876), format (4.173), and timeliness (4.123) variables were in the “satisfied” category. The hypothesis test shows that the content and timeliness variables have a significant effect (sig. value < 0> 0.05) with SIMPUS. Improvements and enhancements are needed, particularly in the accuracy, format, and ease of use variables, to increase user satisfaction and support pharmaceutical services, including medication management and clinical pharmacy services at health centers, to make them more effective and efficient.
