KEJAHATAN SIBER DALAM DRAMA WEB THE POLICE (? ???): KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kejahatan siber di Korea Selatan yang tercermin dalam drama web The Police (? ???) serta mendeskripsikan bentuk kejahatan siber yang terjadi di Korea Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sosiologi sastra yang dikemukakan oleh Ian Watt (1964), yaitu sastra merupakan cerminan masyarakat.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam drama web The Police (? ???) ditemukan dua bentuk kejahatan siber menurut laman ECRM (Electronic Cybercrime Report & Management System). Pertama adalah kejahatan menggunakan jaringan informasi dan komunikasi, yaitu penipuan siber berupa penipuan tiket secondhand dan kejahatan keuangan siber berupa phishing melalui email serta phishing melalui aplikasi messenger Kakao Talk. Kedua adalah kejahatan konten ilegal, yaitu pencemaran nama baik siber berupa unggahan yang berisi kebohongan di situs komunitas kampus dan judi online berupa berjudi di situs judi ilegal. Bentuk kejahatan siber yang ditemukan dalam drama web ini dapat mencerminkan bentuk kejahatan siber yang terjadi di Korea Selatan, yaitu penipuan siber, kejahatan keuangan siber, pencemaran nama baik siber, dan judi online.

This study aims to describe the form of cybercrime in South Korea reflected in the web drama The Police (? ???) as well as to describe the cybercrime form that occurred in South Korea. The method that used in this study is a qualitative method. The theory used in this research is the theory of sociology of literature by Ian Watt (1964), namely that literature is a reflection of society.

The results of the study show that in the web drama The Police (? ???), two forms of cybercrime were found according to the ECRM (Electronic Cybercrime Report & Management System) web page. The first is the information and communication network utilization crimes, namely cyber fraud in the form of secondhand ticket fraud and cyber financial crimes in the form of phishing via email and also phishing via the Kakao Talk messenger application. The second is illegal content crimes, namely cyber defamation in the form of posts containing lies on campus community sites and cyber gambling in the form of gambling on illegal gambling sites. The forms of cybercrime found in this web drama can reflect the forms of cybercrime that occur in South Korea, namely cyber fraud, cyber financial crime, cyber defamation, and online gambling.
