REPRESENTASI NOBILITY (BANGSAWAN) DALAM SERIAL LA RÉVOLUTION KARYA AURÉLIEN MOLAS

Revolusi Prancis adalah krisis politik yang mengguncang Eropa dan dunia pada akhir abad ke-18. Salah satu konsekuensinya adalah perubahan dalam konsepsi pemerintahan dan, sebagai konsekuensinya, lahirnya ide kesetaraan antara kelas sosial. Pada abad ke-21, perpecahan sejarah ini telah diciptakan kembali dalam sebuah serial berjudul La Révolution oleh Aurélien Molas, yang dirilis di Netflix pada tahun 2020. Serial ini menyajikan peristiwa Revolusi Prancis dalam bentuk naskah yang berbeda berdasarkan konflik fiksi yang intens. Plot serial ini juga bercerita tentang bagaimana rakyat Prancis melawan kaum bangsawan untuk menuntut hak-hak mereka dalam perselisihan teritorial yang mengadu domba satu sama lain. Citra yang dibangun oleh kaum bangsawan merupakan fokus utama dari penelitian ini, yang meneliti citra kaum bangsawan yang ditampilkan dalam serial La Révolution. Nilai-nilai kebangsawanan yang diasosiasikan dengan keluarga De Montargis, sebuah ikon sejarah, membentuk benang merah dalam penyajian jalannya Revolusi Prancis.

The French Revolution was a political crisis that shook Europe and the world at the end of the 18th century. One of its consequences was a change in the conception of government and, as a corollary, the birth of the idea of equality between social classes. In the 21st century, this historical rupture has been recreated in a series entitled La Révolution by Aurélien Molas, which was released on Netflix in 2020. This series presents the events of the French Revolution in a different scripted form, based on an intense fictional conflict. The series' plots also tell the story of how the French people fought the nobility to claim their rights in the territorial disputes that pitted them against each other. The image constructed by the nobility is the main focus of this research, which examines the image of the nobility presented in the series La Révolution. The noble values associated with the De Montargis family, an icon of history, form a common thread in the presentation of the unfolding of the French Revolution.
