Identifikasi Kompetensi Interpersonal Psikolog: Metode Delphi

Kompetensi menjadi landasan yang penting bagi psikolog untuk meningkatkan layanan kepada klien. Salah satu kompetensi yang tidak boleh diabaikan yaitu kompetensi interpersonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan indentifikasi kompetensi interpersonal yang dibutuhkan oleh psikolog dalam memberikan layanan psikologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Delphi untuk mengumpulkan dan menyatukan pendapat kelompok ahli agar mencapai konsensus. Studi literatur dan wawancara mandiri yang melibatkan individu yang pernah menggunakan layanan psikologi, psikolog dan psikolog atau dosen yang terlibat dalam penyusunan paduan kompetensi AP2TPI atau HIMPSI dilakukan untuk menyusun aitem penelitian. Sebanyak satu kali putaran dengan kuesioner panel ahli (N=22) menghasilkan 63 aitem kompetensi interpersonal yang perlu dimiliki psikolog dalam melakukan layanan psikologi yang terbagi ke dalam Sembilan kategori. Hasil penelitian ini dibutuhkan sebagai upaya tindak lanjut dari program profesi psikologi untuk mengimplementasikan kompetensi interpersonal pada calon psikolog.

Competence serves as a critical foundation for psychologists to enhance the quality of services provided to clients. Among these competencies, interpersonal competence is particularly vital and cannot be neglected. This study aims to identify the specific interpersonal competencies that psychologists require in delivering psychological services. The research utilizes the Delphi method to gather and consolidate the opinions of a panel of experts, seeking to reach a consensus. A literature review and independent interviews were conducted, involving individuals who have previously utilized psychological services, psychologists, and psychology faculty members or lecturers involved in the development of the AP2TPI or HIMPSI competency guidelines, in order to construct the research questionnaire. Following a single round of expert panel consultation (N = 22), 63 interpersonal skill items were identified and agreed upon. Qualitative data analysis revealed themes regarding the nature of interpersonal skills and the enhancement of these skills for psychology students in professional training. The findings highlight the need for subsequent actions from professional psychology programs to implement these interpersonal competencies in the training of future psychologists, ensuring the improvement of service delivery to clients.
