Perspektif Tiga Tokoh Utama Perempuan Terhadap Peran Ibu dalam Drama Birthcare Center (sanhujoriwon)

       Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perspektif tiga tokoh utama perempuan terhadap peran ibu dalam drama Korea Birthcare Center (?????). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguraikan mengenai perspektif ibu terhadap peran ibu yakni peran asih, peran asuh, dan peran asah yang ditampilkan dalam drama Birthcare Center. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data pada penelitian ini adalah teori sosiologi sastra oleh Alan Swingewood (1972) dengan pendekatan feminisme. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif.

       Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap ibu memiliki perspektif yang berbeda-beda terhadap peran ibu. Tokoh pertama merupakan Ibu Sarang yang mempresentasikan ibu tradisional yang memiliki perspektif bahwa ibu harus selalu ada bersama anak dalam masa pertumbuhan. Tokoh kedua merupakan Ibu Lem Stik yang mempresentasikan ibu modern dengan perspektif ibu dapat meninggalkan anak untuk pergi bekerja. Kemudian, tokoh terakhir adalah Ibu Yomi yang mempresentasikan ibu postmodern yang memiliki perspektif tidak harus mengikuti aturan sosial untuk dapat menjalankan peran sebagai seorang ibu. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan realitas sosial peran ibu dalam memberikan perawatan kepada anak di Korea.

       This research examines about the perspectives of  three female main character to mother role at Korean drama Birthcare Center. The purpose of this research is to elaborate the female perspective of mother role as love role, nurture role, and sharpen role that appear in drama Birthcare Center. The used theory to analize the data of this research is sociology of literature by Alan Swingewood (1972) and the analyze of social reality by feminism approach. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods.

       The output of the research indicates each mother has different perspective about mother roles. The first character is Sarang’s mother who reflect traditional mother. Sarang’s mother has perspective that mother should invariably together with children in growth period. the second character is Gluestick’s mother that reflect of modern mother that has perspective mother can leave the children to be at work. The last character is Yomi’s mother reflect the postmodern mother who has perspective mother has a freedom to not comply the social rules to perform the mother roles. This research show social reality of  mother role to caring the children in Korean society as well.
