Museum Dr. Yap Prawirohusodo merupakan museum dengan tema kedokteran mata yang berdiri di kompleks Rumah Sakit Mata Dr. Yap. Museum ini berisi mengenai peninggalan dari Rumah Sakit Mata Dr. Yap dan Dr. Yap Hong Tjoen selaku pendiri rumah sakit yang juga berjasa dalam perkembangan kesehatan mata di Yogyakarta pada masa kolonial. Namun, setelah beberapa tahun Museum Dr. Yap berdiri masih belum memiliki storyline pada ruang pamernya sehingga penelitian ini dibuat untuk memberikan acuan bagi Museum Dr. Yap Prawirohusodo dalam merancang storyline. Dalam prosesnya, penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua tahap yaitu pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dengan staff Museum Dr. Yap Prawirohusodo, dan melakukan studi pustaka, serta melakukan penyusunan storyline berdasarkan data yang telah dikumpulkan. Storyline yang disusun dibagi menjadi empat elemen yaitu dokumen narasi, garis besar pameran, daftar judul dan sub-judul, dan daftar koleksi. Hasil dari penelitian adalah storyline yang disusun mencerminkan mengenai sejarah dan perkembangan pengobatan mata di Yogyakarta.

The Dr. Yap Prawirohusodo Museum is a museum with the theme of eye medicine, located within the Dr. Yap Eye Hospital complex. This museum houses relics from the Dr. Yap Eye Hospital and Dr. Yap Hong Tjoen, the founder of the hospital, who also played a significant role in the development of eye healthcare in Yogyakarta during the colonial era. However, after several years since its establishment, the Dr. Yap Museum still lacked a storyline in its exhibition space. Therefore, this research was conducted to provide a reference for the Dr. Yap Prawirohusodo Museum in designing a storyline. The research process was divided into two main stages: data collection through observations, interviews with the staff of the Dr. Yap Prawirohusodo Museum, and literature studies, followed by the development of a storyline based on the collected data. The storyline was divided into four elements: narrative documents, exhibition outline, list of titles and sub-titles, and collection list. The result of this research is a storyline that reflects the history and development of eye healthcare in Yogyakarta
