Analisis pengaruh kualitas informasi terhadap kepuasan pengguna Web Students MM UGM

Informasi mutlak diperlukan sebuah organisasi pendidikan untuk menjalankan aktivitas akademiknya. Dalam sebuah organisasi pendidikan dengan jumlah mahasiswa yang banyak, disediakan web site online untuk menyampaikan berbagai macam informasi yang cepat, akurat dan andal bagi para mahasiswanya demi kelangsungan studi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan informasi masing-masing mahasiswa. Web students berfungsi untuk mengorganisasikan informasi dari pihak pengelola kepada mahasiswa untuk keperluan pengisisan KRS, pengaksesan jurnal, tesis online, dan lain-lain. Untuk itu diperlukan layanan informasi kepada mahasiswa melalui web yang informasinya relevan, updated , tepat waktu, reliable, mempunyai scope informasi yang luas dan berguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kualitas informasi web students MM UGM berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa pengguna web students MM UGM Yogyakarta. Sample yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa MM UGM Yogyakarta sebagai pengguna web students MM UGM. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui informasi yang diterima langsung berdasarkan jawaban responden pada butir pertanyaan yang sebelumnya sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Metode regresi linier sederhana dan berganda dengan 4 prediktor digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas informasi terhadap kepuasan pengguna web Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan tidak ada pengaruh ekspektasi secara signifikan terhadap persepsi, kedua, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan ekspektasi dan persepsi terhadap diskonfirmasi kualitas informasi, ketiga, terdapat pengaruh signifikan diskonfirmasi dan persepsi terhadap kepuasan pengguna kualitas informasi web students MM UGM.

Information for education organization is an important thing to run its academic activity. The online web site is the effective media to deliver wide variety of information which fast, accurate, and reliable for those students in that organization. The needed academic information can be customized by each students for their needs. Web students function is to organize information from the academic and other campus units for students to fill KRS, journal access, thesis online, etc. Therefore, relevancy, timeliness, reliability, scope, perceived usefulness information service web-based is needed for students. This research purpose is to find out whether information quality web students MM GMU have significant influence to web user satisfaction. The research samples are the students of MM GMU Yogyakarta as the users of web students MM GMU. Research data was gathered by using questionnaires for each predictor that have been tested through the factor analysis and reliability. Multiple 4-predictor regression method used to identify the influence of information quality to web-user satisfaction. The result of this research showed that, first, expectation does not have significant influence to information quality perception. Second, expectation and perceptions have significant influence to information quality disconfirmation. Last, disconfirmation and perception of information quality don’t have influence to web - user information quality satisfaction.
