MAKNA PUISI “JIN?ZATUN MUND?ABIT?ATUN” DALAM ANTOLOGI MISBA?ATU AR-RA`?SI KARYA ‘ABDU AR-RA?M?N Y?SUF: ANALISIS SEMIOTIK RIFFATERRE

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan makna puisi “Jina?zatun Mund?abit?atun” dalam Antologi Misba?ah ar-Ra`?si karangan ‘Abdu ar-Ra?ma?n Yusu?f. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori semiotik, yaitu teori yang digunakan untuk mengetahui suatu tanda. Adapun metode analisisnya adalah dua dari empat metode yang disampaikan oleh Riffaterre, yaitu ketaklangsungan ekspresi dan pembacaan semiotik.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna puisi ini adalah kesedihan yang dirasakan oleh seluruh rakyar Mesir atas kematian Naj?b Mah?f?z. Puisi ini juga mengungkapkan prosesi pemakaman Naj?b Mah?f?z yang dilakukan secara militer dengan penuh kekhidmatan. Selain itu puisi ini juga berisi kritik terhadap para penguasa yang selalu mengkritik karya-karya Naj?b Mah?f?z semasa hidupnya, meskipun ia dalah penerima nobel sastra ternama di Mesir.

This research aims to reveal the meaning of the poem “Jin?zatun Mun?abi?atun” in the Misba?ah ar-Ra`?si Anthology written by 'Abdu ar-Ra?m?n Yus?f. The theory used in this research is semiotic theory, namely the theory used to identify a sign. The analysis methods are two of the four methods presented by Riffaterre, namely indirectness of expression and semiotic reading.

The results of this research show that the meaning of this poem is the sadness felt by all Egyptian people over the death of Naj?b Ma?f?z. This poem also reveals that Naj?b Ma?f?z's funeral procession was carried out militarily with great solemnity. Apart from that, this poem also contains criticism of the rulers who always criticized Naj?b Ma?f?z's works during his lifetime, even though he was the recipient of the famous literary Nobel Prize in Egypt.
