Analisis Strategi Bersaing MaxOne Hotel & Resort Makassar

Industri perhotelan di Makassar tiap tahunnya mengalami perkembangan yang pesat, jumlah hotel semakin banyak dengan menawarkan berbagai fasilitas yang unggul. MaxOne Hotel dan Resort merupakan salah satu penyedia akomodasi di Makassar dengan kelas bintang 4. Jumlah hotel bintang di Makassar sebanyak 145 dan 17 diantaranya hotel dengan kelas bintang 4. MaxOne tidak hanya bersaing dengan hotel yang memiliki kelas yang sama karena terdapat banyak produk substitusi yang dapat menggantikan MaxOne.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor lingkungan eksternal dan lingkungan internal yang dapat membantu MaxOne dalam menghadapi persaingan di industri perhotelan di Makassar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, strategi yang di rekomendasikan untuk MaxOne Hotel & Resort adalah srategi focused low cost karena strategi ini berfokus melayani ceruk pasar dengan harga yang lebih rendah dari yang pesaing tawarkan.

The hotel industry in Makassar experiences rapid development every year, the number of hotels is increasing and offers various superior facilities. MaxOne Hotel and Resort is one of the accommodation providers in Makassar with a 4 star class. The number of star hotels in Makassar is 145 and 17 of them are hotels with a 4 star class. MaxOne does not only compete with hotels of the same class because there are many substitute products that can Replaces MaxOne.

This research aims to analyze external environmental and internal environmental factors that can help MaxOne in facing competition in the hotel industry in Makassar. Based on the research results, the recommended strategy for MaxOne Hotel & Resort is a focused low cost strategy because this strategy focuses on serving a niche market at lower prices than competitors offer.
