Hubungan Skor Lund-Mackay Dengan Gangguan Fungsi Tuba Eustachius Pada Pasien Rhinosinusitis Kronis

Latar belakang : Gangguan fungsi tuba eustachius merupakan salah satu komplikasi dari rhinosinusitis kronis. Skor Lund-Mackay berkorelasi dengan derajat keparahan rhinosinusitis, dimana adanya gangguan fungsi tuba eustachius dapat dikonfirmasi dengan pemeriksaan ETF.

Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan skor Lund-Mackay (LM) dengan gangguan fungsi tuba eustachius (TE) pada pasien rhinosinusitis kronis.

Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan rancangan penelitian crossectional. Variabel bebas adalah skor Lund-Mackay sedangkan variabel terikat adalah gangguan fungsi tuba eustachius pasien rhinosinusitis kronis. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi square, dan analisis multivariat menggunakan uji regresi logistik. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan nilai signifikansi p<0>

Hasil : Subjek penelitian meliputi 44 pasien rhinosinusitis kronis. Mayoritas pasien adalah perempuan (56,8%), usia 35 tahun (18-74 tahun), fungsi TE terganggu (54,5%), skor LM ?15 (36,4%) dimana 75% nya mengalami gangguan fungsi tuba. Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara skor LM dan gangguan fungsi TE (p=0,039), dimana pasien dengan skor LM ?15 memiliki peluang mengalami gangguan fungsi TE sebesar 1,75 kali dibandingkan pasien dengan skor LM <15 xss=removed p=0,046, xss=removed p=0,045, xss=removed>

Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara skor Lund-Mackay dan gangguan fungsi tuba eustachius pada pasien rhinosinusitis kronis.

Background: Eustachian tube dysfunction is one of the complications of chronic rhinosinusitis. The Lund-Mackay score is related to the severity of rhinosinusitis, where the presence of Eustachian tube dysfunction can be confirmed by ETF examination.

Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between the Lund-Mackay (LM) score and Eustachian tube (TE) dysfunction in chronic rhinosinusitis patients.

Methodology: This study is an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional study design. The independent variable is the Lund-Mackay score while the dependent variable is the Eustachian tube dysfunction in chronic rhinosinusitis patients. Result: The subjects of the study included 44 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis.
