KONSEP DIRI KOMUNITAS COSPLAY SURABAYA DALAM PERSPEKTIF FILSAFAT AKAL-BUDI GILBERT RYLE

Penelitian ini berjudul Konsep Diri Komunitas Cosplay Surabaya Dalam Perspektif Filsafat Akal-Budi Gilbert Ryle tujuan peneliti ingin menelaah bagaimana konsep diri dalam eksistensi komunitas cosplay Surabaya dan menggunakan Filsafat Akal-Budi Gilbert Ryle yang relevan karena membahas tentang pikiran dan fisik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, didukung data pustaka dan wawancara. Jalannya penelitian dimulai dari pengumpulan data, klasifikasi, pengolahan data, dan penyajian data. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian filsafat tentang masalah aktual, maka metode hermeneutika filosofis diperlukan untuk menganalisis masalah penelitian dengan melibatkan unsur-unsur metodis antara lain: Deskripsi, Interpretasi, Koherensi, dan Induksi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: pertama, konsep diri sebagai landasan filosofis dalam Eksistensi Komunitas Cosplay Surabaya adalah integrasi antara pikiran dan fisik, seperti saat cosplay karakter favorit; kedua, perspektif Gilbert Ryle memberikan pemahaman holistik terhadap konsep diri sebagai Landasan Filosofis dalam komunitas cosplay Surabaya. Aktivitas fisik, transformasi identitas, interaksi sosial, dan integrasi kreativitas menciptakan suatu kesatuan yang mencirikan konsep fisikalisme Ryle, membuka ruang untuk pemahaman lebih mendalam terhadap identitas dalam konteks kegiatan hobi ini.

This research is entitled The Self-Concept of the Surabaya Cosplay Community in the Perspective of Gilbert Ryle's Intellect-Mind Philosophy. The purpose of the researcher wants to examine how the self-concept in the existence of the Surabaya cosplay community and uses Gilbert Ryle's Intellect-Mind Philosophy which is relevant because it discusses the mind and physical. This research method uses qualitative methods, supported by library data and interviews. The course of research starts from data collection, classification, data processing, and data presentation. This research is philosophical research on actual problems, so the philosophical hermeneutic method is needed to analyze research problems by involving methodical elements including: Description, Interpretation, Coherence, and Induction. The results of this research are: first, self-concept as a philosophical foundation in the existence of Surabaya Cosplay Community is the integration between mind and physical, such as when cosplaying favorite characters; second, Gilbert Ryle's perspective provides a holistic understanding of self-concept as a philosophical foundation in Surabaya cosplay community. Physical activity, identity transformation, social interaction, and creative integration create a unity that characterizes Ryle's concept of physicalism, opening up space for a deeper understanding of identity in the context of this hobby activity.
