ANALISIS RESISTENSI MAHASISWA TERHADAP IMPLEMENTASI AWAL LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) KHUSUS AKUNTANSI SIDEK-Edu VERSI 2.0 (STUDI KASUS PADA MAHASISWA AKUNTANSI DAN NON-AKUNTANSI)

Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis resistensi mahasiswa terhadap implementasi awal Learning Management System (LMS) SIDEK-Edu versi 2.0 di kalangan mahasiswa akuntansi dan non-akuntansi di Universitas Gadjah Mada. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk resistensi yang muncul dan bagaimana bias status quo, kesalahan kognitif, pengambilan keputusan rasional, serta komitmen psikologis mempengaruhi resistensi tersebut.

Metode Penelitian - Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan Naturalistic Inquiry. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan sepuluh mahasiswa (lima mahasiswa akuntansi dan lima mahasiswa non-akuntansi) yang menggunakan LMS SIDEK-Edu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling.

Temuan -  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resistensi mahasiswa muncul dalam beberapa bentuk, seperti kebingungan dalam menggunakan LMS, keluhan terhadap masalah teknis, dan preferensi terhadap metode pembelajaran tradisional. Bias status quo memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong mahasiswa untuk tetap mempertahankan metode pembelajaran konvensional, meskipun LMS menawarkan kemudahan akses dan fitur digital. Resistensi juga diperburuk oleh pengalaman negatif mahasiswa terhadap LMS, seperti server yang lambat dan kesulitan dalam penilaian otomatis.

Originalitas - Originalitas penelitian ini terletak pada eksplorasi resistensi mahasiswa terhadap LMS di bidang akuntansi dengan memperhatikan perspektif mahasiswa non-akuntansi, yang belum banyak dibahas dalam literatur sebelumnya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam memahami resistensi pengguna teknologi pembelajaran digital di institusi pendidikan.

Objectives - This study aims to analyze student resistance to the initial implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS) SIDEK-Edu version 2.0 among accounting and non-accounting students at Gadjah Mada University. The focus of this research is to identify the forms of resistance that arise and how status quo bias, cognitive errors, rational decision making, and psychological commitment affect the resistance. 

Research Methods - The study employs a qualitative method, using Naturalistic Inquiry approaches. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with ten students (five accounting students and five non-accounting students) who actively used the SIDEK-Edu LMS. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling.

Findings - Findings reveal that students exhibit various forms of resistance, including confusion in navigating the LMS, complaints about technical issues, and a preference for traditional learning methods. Status quo bias significantly influences students to favor conventional learning, despite the advantages offered by the LMS in terms of accessibility and digital features. Additionally, negative user experiences, such as slow server response and difficulties with automated assessments, exacerbate resistance to the LMS.

Originality - The originality of this study lies in its exploration of student resistance to an accounting LMS from the perspective of non-accounting students, a topic that has not been widely addressed in previous literature. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of user resistance to digital learning technologies in educational institutions.
