The Front to End Engineering Design (FEED) for the Hidayah project in North Madura, which aims to produce oil and gas, is currently underway. The FEED for the fuel gas scrubber system is expected to prevent jet fires that could potentially damage surrounding components. Although detection and warning measures have been implemented, the estimation of the probability of significant physical dimension jet fires has not been conducted, leading to ambiguity in the associated risks.
A deterministic analysis method was used to calculate the significant dimensions of jet fires. Fault Tree Analysis was employed to determine the probability of significant dimension jet fires.
The study results indicate that the significant dimension of the jet fire is 0,9 meters, while the probability of a jet fire occurring in the fuel gas scrubber unit process is 1,3 ???? 10?6/year.
