Industri florikultura di Belanda mempunyai pengaruh ekonomi dan politik yang signifikan, yang mempengaruhi kebijakan dalam negeri dan proses pengambilan keputusan Uni Eropa (UE). Melalui kekuatan ekonomi dan pengaruh politiknya, industri ini berhasil mendapatkan bantuan negara di tengah krisis pandemi Covid-19. Dengan latar belakang Brexit dan Euroscepticism, tesis ini juga mengeksplorasi persetujuan bantuan negara untuk industri florikultura Belanda di UE. Dengan mengkaji keterkaitan antara kekuatan ekonomi, pengaruh politik, dan dinamika struktural, studi ini menyelidiki bagaimana industri mempunyai kekuatan untuk memobilisasi dukungan, membentuk opini publik, dan mempengaruhi proses pengambilan keputusan di Uni Eropa. Melalui analisis multi-sisi, tesis ini menyoroti kompleksitas hasil kebijakan ekonomi. Dengan menggali dinamika industri florikultura di Belanda, implikasi Brexit, dan sikap skeptis terhadap Uni Eropa, skripsi ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai integrasi UE, kebijakan ekonomi, dan dinamika kekuasaan di dalam Uni Eropa.

The floriculture industry in the Netherlands holds significant economic and political sway, shaping both domestic policies and European Union (EU) decision-making processes. Through its economic power and political influence, the industry was successful in securing state-aid amidst the crisis of Covid-19 pandemic. Against the backdrop of Brexit and Euroscepticism, this thesis also explores the approval of state aid for the Dutch floriculture industry within the EU. Examining the interplay between economic power, political influence, and structural dynamics, the study investigates how the industry has the power to mobilize support, shape public opinion, and influence EU decision-making process. Through a multi-faceted analysis, the thesis sheds light on the complexities of an economic policy outcome. By delving into the Dutch floricultural industry’s dynamics, the implications of Brexit, and Euroscepticism, the thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of EU integration, economic policy, and the dynamics of power within the European Union.
