Strategi Pengelolaan Kawasan Cagar Budaya Pleret Berbasis Konsep Open Site Museum

Tesis ini membahas perihal strategi pengelolaan kawasan Cagar Budaya di Pleret berbasis konsep Open Site Museum. Fenomena yang terjadi pada situs-situs di Kawasan Pleret adalah menurunnya jumlah pengunjung sehingga perlu adanya inovasi untuk mengatasinya. Inovasi yang di angkat berupa sebuah konsep Open Site Museum. Sehingga permasalahan yang diusung dalam menerapkan konsep tersebut pada situs-situs di kawasan Pleret adalah bagaimana strategi pengelolaan kawasan cagar budaya di Pleret ? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat sebuah strategi dalam mengelola kawasan Cagar Budaya di Pleret berbasis konsep Open Site Museum dengan melakukan terintegrasi pada situs-situs yang berada di kawasan Pleret dengan Museum Sejarah Purbakala Pleret  sebagai intinya.

Metode dalam penulisan ini adalah menganalisis konsep Open Site Museum sehingga dapat diterapkan pada situs-situs di kawasan Pleret. Proses dalam penelitian ini di awali dengan mendata situs-situs di kawasan Pleret dan merumuskan konsep Open Site Museum, kemudian menganalisis data situs-situs tersebut dengan konsep Open Site Museum. Sehingga di dapat sebuah kesimpulan bahwa situs-situs di kawasan Pleret sesuai dengan konsep Open Site Museum dan dapat menjadi satu kesatuan dengan Museum Sejarah Purbakala Pleret.

This thesis discusses the management strategy of the Cultural Heritage area in Pleret based on the Open Site Museum concept. The phenomenon that occurs at sites in the Pleret area is the decline in the number of visitors so that innovation is needed to overcome it. The innovation raised is in the form of an Open Site Museum concept. So that the problem raised in applying the concept to sites in the Pleret area is how the management strategy of the cultural heritage area in Pleret? The purpose of this research is to create a strategy in managing the Cultural Heritage area in Pleret based on the Open Site Museum concept by integrating the sites in the Pleret area with the Museum Sejarah Purbakala Pleret as the core.

The method in this writing is to analyze the concept of Open Site Museum so that it can be applied to sites in the Pleret area. The process in this research begins with recording sites in the Pleret area and formulating the concept of Open Site Museum, then analyzing the data of these sites with the concept of Open Site Museum. So that it can be concluded that the sites in the Pleret area are in accordance with the concept of Open Site Museum and can become an integral part of the Museum Sejarah Purbakala Pleret.
