Skripsi ini membahas mengenai suntingan teks terhadap naskah Serat Kula Pratama S. 37 koleksi Balai Pelestarian Kebudayaan Yogyakarta. Teks Kula Pratama berisi tentang cerita Raden Sutawijaya yang selalu menemani perjalanan Raden Mas Said atau yang disebut Mangkunegara I. Kondisi teks ditulis dengan bahasa Jawa beraksara Jawa pula sehingga dibutuhkan proses suntingan dan terjemahan supaya dapat dimengerti dengan jelas isi ceritanya. 

Teori dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teori untuk kajian filologi yang meliputi kodikologi, kritik teks dan terjemahan campuran yang mempunyai tujuan supaya pokok teks dapat tersampaikan dengan jelas. Teks Kula Pratama adalah teks prosa yang lebih bebas, tidak terikat oleh metrum atau aturan tertentu. Setelah dilakukan pembacaan didapati sebagian besar cerita lebih menceritakan tentang Raden Sutawijaya mulai awal lahir sampai ia meninggal. Dalam hal kritik teks peneliti juga menjumpai temuan pada teks yaitu kasus ditografi. Selain itu, dijelaskan mengenai historisitas dan piwulang tentang sikap kepemimpinan tokoh dalam teks KP. 

This undergraduate thesis discusses text editing of the Serat Kula Pratama S. 37 manuscript in the collection of the Yogyakarta Cultural Conservation Center. The Kula Pratama text contains the story of Raden Sutawijaya who always accompanies the journey of Raden Mas Said or who is also known as Mangkunegara I. The condition of the text is that it is written in Javanese with Javanese script, so an editing and translation process is needed so that the contents of the story can be clearly understood.

The theory and methods used in this research are theories for philological studies which include codicology, text criticism and mixed translation which aims to ensure that the main points of the text can be conveyed clearly. The Kula Pratama text is a freer prose text, not bound by a certain meter or rules. After reading the text, it was found that most of the stories told more about Raden Sutawijaya from when he was born until he died. In terms of text criticism, the case of ditografi is also found in the text. Besides from that, it explains the historicity and piwulang regarding the leadership attitudes of figures in the KP  teks are explained.
