SUBYEKTIVASI RASA Studi Politik Pembentukan Subyek Toleran di SMK Bakti Karya Parigi, Kabupaten Pangandaran

Penelitian ini menggambarkan proses subyektivasi rasa, sebuah proyek pembentukan subyek yang melibatkan rasa, untuk membentuk subyek toleran. Proses ini berlangsung melalui peran institusi, diskursus, rasa, dan subyek yang bekerja secara simultan dalam praktik diskursif rasa, politik rasa, disiplin rasa, dan teknologi rasa. Keseluruhan proses itu melahirkan rasa yang diatur dan dinormalisasi oleh institusi maupun oleh subyek sendiri. Subyektivasi rasa tumbuh dalam berbagai aktivitas pembelajaran dan interaksi sosial di sekolah, di asrama, maupun di Kampung Nusantara. Diskursus toleransi diproduksi, didistribusikan, dan diinternalisasi pada dimensi rasa, begitu rupa, sehingga siswa mengalami konstruksi rasa dan normalisasi, serta memiliki teknologi rasa untuk membentuk dirinya sebagai subyek toleran. Menggunakan fenomenologi sebagai strategi riset, peneliti live in selama lebih dari 10 bulan di lokasi penelitian. Peneliti melakukan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan diskusi kelompok terfokus dengan siswa, guru, pengelola yayasan, dan warga Kampung Nusantara untuk menggali pengalaman, makna, dan rasa yang hadir dalam proses subyektivasi rasa. Dengan subyektivasi rasa, penelitian ini menemukan fakta bahwa toleransi telah menjadi “nafas” yang menghidupi interaksi sosial.

This research describes the process of affect subjectivation, a project aimed at forming a subject that incorporates affect in order to shape a tolerant individual. This process unfolds through the interplay of institutions, discourses, affect, and subjects, working together within the discursive practices of affect, politics of affect, discipline of affect, and technology of affect. The entire process results in the regulation and normalization of affect, both by institutions and by the subjects themselves. The subjectivation of affect evolves within various learning activities and social interactions in schools, dormitories, and the Nusantara Village. The discourse of tolerance is produced, disseminated, and internalized at the level of affect to such an extent that students undergo the construction of affect and normalization. They also possess the affective technology to mold themselves into tolerant individuals. Utilizing phenomenology as a research strategy, the researcher lived in the research location for over 10 months. The researcher conducted participatory observations, in-depth interviews, and focused group discussions with students, teachers, foundation managers, and residents of the Nusantara Village to explore the experiences, meanings, and affect present in the process of affect subjectivation. This study revealed that tolerance becomes the very essence that breathes life into social interactions.
