Because the demand for electrical energy continues to increase, automatically the supply of electrical power must also be increased. Indonesia itself continues to be actively involved in fulfilling the Paris Agreement and has committed to reducing Green House Gas (GHG) emissions. In the 2021-2023 PLN RUPTL itself, it is written that there is an additional portion of EBT generators of 51.6%, greater than the addition of fossil generators of 48.4%.
In Indonesia itself, one of the great potentials for NRE (Natural Resources Energy) is wind energy. Efforts to utilize NRE have been realized by the operation of PLTB located at several points in Indonesia, such as Sidrap, Majene and Jenoponto. In this capstone, research was carried out to find the optimal PLTB capacity and the location of the PLTB using the IEEE 14 Bus system test.
