DIASPORA LEBANON DI AMERIKA DALAM ANTOLOGI PUISI AGANI AD-DARWISY KARYA RASYID AYYUB: KRITIK SASTRA MATERIALISTIK TERRY EAGLETON

Penelitian ini menguraikan struktur ideologi dalam antologi puisi Agani ad-Darwisy (Nyanyian sang Peratap) karya Rasyid Ayyub dengan menggunakan teori kritik sastra materialistik Terry Eagleton dengan menghubungkan bangunan ideologi teks pada fakta historis yang ada. Eagleton menyatakan bahwa karya sastra adalah hasil artikulasi dari aspek eksternal dan aspek internal teks. Aspek eksternal terdiri atas struktur ideologi yang mencakup cara produksi umum (General Mode of Production), ideologi umum (General Ideology), cara produksi kesusastraan (Literary Mode of Production), ideologi kepengarangan (Authorial Ideology), dan ideologi estetik (Aesthetic Ideology). Aspek internal teks atau aspek yang diposisikan di dalam teks, merujuk pada ideologi teks yang merupakan transformasi atau pengolahan tekstual unsur-unsur eksternal. 

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teks puisi dalam antologi puisi Agani ad-Darwisy merupakan hasil artikulasi dominasi kekuasaan Turki Usmani dan Prancis yang diktator, otoriter, dan sewenang-wenang. Di sisi lain, politik sektarian menyebabkan kontestasi ideologi antar sekte kerap terjadi. Akibatnya, terjadilah pertumpahan darah pada Perang Druze-Maronit 1860, Perang Dunia I, Perang Sipil I 1958, dan Perang Sipil II 1975. Peristiwa tersebut berdampak pada kehidupan masyarakat Lebanon yang sarat akan penderitaan sehingga mendorong terjadinya diaspora. Dominasi kekuasaan asing dan sektarianisme melahirkan ideologi nasionalisme dan semangat kebebasan. Nasionalisme memunculkan gerakan nasionalis dan gerakan nahdah/kebangkitan yang mempengaruhi ideologi estetik berupa semangat kebebasan melalui diaspora. 

Semangat kebebasan melahirkan aliran puisi bebas (asy-syi’ru al-hurr). Dominasi kekuatan asing, sektarianisme, nasionalisme, dan semangat kebebasan juga mempengaruhi ideologi kepengarangan Rasyid Ayyub. Di samping itu, teks menguraikan struktur ideologi dan merekonstruksi kembali ideologi tersebut sehingga menghasilkan semangat perjuangan dan perlawanan. Struktur ideologi teks puisi pada antologi Agani ad-Darwisy merepresentasikan ideologi perlawanan. Korelasi antara teks dengan fakta historis pada antologi puisi Ag?n? Ad-Darw?sy dapat diuraikan menjadi tiga bahasan, yaitu teks-teks puisi Rasyid Ayyub menunjukkan kritik terhadap penguasa, semangat perjuangan dan kebebasan, serta cinta dan kerinduan pada tanah air.

This research describes the ideological structure in the poetry anthology Agani ad-Darwisy (Songs of the Wailer) by Rasyid Ayyub using Terry Eagleton's theory of materialistic literary criticism by connecting the ideological building of the text to existing historical facts. Eagleton states that literary works are the result of articulation from external aspects and internal aspects of the text. The external aspect consists of an ideological structure which includes general modes of production, general ideologies, literary modes of production, authorial ideologies and aesthetic ideologies. Internal aspects of the text or aspects positioned within the text, refer to the ideology of the text which is the transformation or textual processing of external elements.

The results of the research show that the poetry text in the Agani ad-Darwisy poetry anthology is the result of an articulation of the dictatorial, authoritarian and arbitrary dominance of Ottoman Turkey and France. On the other hand, sectarian politics causes ideological contestation between communities to occur frequently. As a result, bloodshed occurred in the War of Druze-Maronite 1860, World War I, Civil War I in 1958, and Civil War II in 1975. These events had an impact on the lives of the Lebanese people which were full of suffering, thus encouraging the diaspora. The domination of foreign powers and sectarianism gave birth to the ideology of nationalism and the spirit of freedom. Nationalism gave rise to the nationalist movement and the nahdah/awakening movement which influenced the aesthetic ideology in the form of a spirit of freedom through the diaspora.

The spirit of freedom gave birth to the flow of free poetry (asy-syi'ru al-hurr). The domination of foreign powers, sectarianism, nationalism, and the spirit of freedom also influenced Rasyid Ayyub's authorship ideology. Apart from that, the text outlines the ideological structure and reconstructs the ideology so as to produce a spirit of struggle and resistance. The ideological structure of the poetry text in Agani ad-Darwisy's anthology represents the ideology of resistance. The correlation between texts and historical facts in Agani Ad-Darwisy's poetry anthology can be broken down into three discussions, namely, Rasyid Ayyub's poetry texts show criticism of the authorities, the spirit of struggle and freedom, as well as love and longing for the homeland.
