Dinamika Liberates Space Sebagai Ruang Kreatif di Yogyakarta Dalam Perspektif Produksi Ruang Henri Lefebvre

Ruang kreatif menjadi perbincangan menarik dalam perkembangan wacana ekonomi kreatif negara, entitas ruang kreatif menjadi salah satu bagian dari perencanaan besar dalam menunjang penataan ruang kota dan ekonomi suatu negara. Indonesia memiliki sejarah perkembangan ruang kreatif yang cukup kompleks mulai dari insiasi kreatif lokal tahun 90an dimana diinisiasi oleh gerakan-gerakan lokal hingga pada wacana ekonomi kreatif di Indonesia berkembang melalui badan ekonomi kreatif dan munculnya ruang-ruang baru yang diinisiasi oleh negara. Ruang kreatif menjadi dinamis mengikuti konteks perkembangan wacana, sejarah dan latar belakang masyarakatnya. Liberates Space adalah ruang kreatif lokal di Yogyakarta yang memiliki karaktersitik kultural dan semangat kolektifitasnya  dalam proses perkembangannya. Ruang kreatif ini berdiri dalam latar belakang waktu diamana negara sedang aktif dalam perencanaan ruang kreatif khususnya di Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melhat bagaimana ruang kreatif Liberaets Space di produksi, kemudian melihat konteks perkembangan ruang kreatif di Yogyakarta untuk mengetahui bagaimana ruang ini memposisikan diri dalam perkembangan wacana ekonomi kreatif di Yogyakarta.

 

Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif studi kasus, Pendekatan triad spasial produksi ruang sosial Heri Lefebvre kedua pertanyaan tersebut dapat secara kompleks untuk dibahas. Dengan triad spasial produksi ruang sosial Lefebvre dapat melihat bagian-bagian dimana ruang tersebut dikonsep, digunakan, dan di pahami oleh pengguna ruang.  Konsep ruang milik lefebvre juga membantu melihat karakteristik, dan nilai ruang berkaitan dengan konteks sejarah dan wacana yang sedang berkembang khususnya di Yogyakarta.

 

Ruang ini tumbuh dengan kultur daerah Yogyakarta yang terbuka dan erat akan nilai-nilai kulturalnya. Peneliti menemukan Liberates Space sebagai ruang kreatif yang memiliki karakteristik kultural yang dimplementasikan melalui semangat kolektivitas maju bareng dan migunani tumraping liyan begitu juga karakteristik ruang kultural yang kemudian selalu mengangkat isu-isu sosial dalam kerja ruangnya. Perkembangan wacana kreatif tentunya memiliki dampak atas perkembangan ruang kreatif yang ada di Yogyakarta, dimana ruang-ruang baru seperti Liberates Space ternyata memiliki ciri dan bentuk praktik baru dalam menjalankan kerja ruangnya secara eksplisit ruang ini menjadi ruang kultural yang lekat akan komunitas kolektif secara implisit kemudian ruang ini menjadi ruang kapital yang memiliki tujuan bisnis. Proses produksi ruang yang telah dilakukan Liberates Space melalui idealisme dan proses intervensi aktor menimbulkan kelompok terepresentasikan dan tidak terepresentasikan atas praktik ruang yang dijalankan.

Creative space is an interesting conversation in the development of the country's creative economy discourse, the entity of creative space is one part of a large plan in supporting urban spatial planning and the economy of a country. Indonesia has a fairly complex history of creative space development starting from local creative initiatives in the 90s which were initiated by local movements to the creative economy discourse in Indonesia developed through the creative economy agency and the emergence of new spaces initiated by the state. Creative spaces become dynamic following the context of the development of the discourse, history and background of the community. Liberates Space is a local creative space in Yogyakarta that has its cultural characteristics and spirit of collectivity in its development process. This creative space was established in the background of a time when the state was active in planning creative spaces, especially in Yogyakarta. The purpose of this research is to see how the creative space of Liberaets Space is produced, then look at the context of the development of creative spaces in Yogyakarta to find out how this space positions itself in the development of creative economic discourse in Yogyakarta

With the qualitative research method of case study, Heri Lefebvre's spatial triad approach of social space production both questions can be complexly discussed. With the spatial triad of social space production Lefebvre can see the parts where the space is conceptualized, used, and understood by space users.  Lefebvre's concept of space also helps to see the characteristics and value of space in relation to the historical context and the discourse that is developing, especially in Yogyakarta.

This space grows with the culture of the Yogyakarta area which is open and close to its cultural values. Researchers found Liberates Space as a creative space that has cultural characteristics that are implemented through the spirit of collectivity together and migunani tumraping liyan as well as the characteristics of cultural spaces which then always raise social issues in the work of the space. The development of creative discourse certainly has an impact on the development of creative spaces in Yogyakarta, where new spaces such as Liberates Space turn out to have new characteristics and forms of practice in carrying out their spatial work explicitly this space becomes a cultural space that is attached to a collective community implicitly then this space becomes a capital space that has business goals. The process of space production that Liberates Space has carried out through idealism and the process of actor intervention creates represented and unrepresented groups for the space practices carried out
