Webtoon dan Drama "My Roommate is a Gumiho (? ???? ??)": Kajian Ekranisasi

Skripsi ini membahas tentang ekranisasi pada alur dan tokoh webtoon My Roommate is a Gumiho (? ???? ??) karya Na yang diadaptasi menjadi serial drama My Roommate is a Gumiho (? ???? ??) oleh sutradara Nam Sung-woo. Skripsi ini menggunakan teori struktural Robert Stanton (1965) untuk mengetahui tokoh dan alur yang terdapat pada kedua webtoon dan drama. Setelah itu, teori ekranisasi Pamusuk Eneste (1991) digunakan untuk menganalisis penambahan, penciutan, dan perubahan bervariasi apa saja yang terjadi dalam proses adaptasi webtoon My Roommate is a Gumiho (? ???? ??) menjadi dramanya. 

Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 penambahan, 2 penciutan, dan 2 perubahan bervariasi pada tokoh. Penambahan tokoh yaitu Hwang Yoo-jin, Akgwi, dan Seo Hwa. Penciutan tokoh yaitu dihapuskannya tokoh Lee Yoon-sang dan Ayah Lee Dam. Perubahan bervariasi tokoh terjadi pada tokoh Park Ha-kyung dan Lim Yo-han. Selanjutnya ditemukan pula 5 penambahan, 1 penciutan, dan 2 perubahan bervariasi pada alur. Penambahan pada alur adalah penambahan pekerjaan Shin Woo-yeo, kelereng Shin Woo-yeo yang berubah warna, pertemuan Lee Dam dengan Seo Hwa, kasus pembunuhan oleh roh jahat, dan Shin Woo-yeo akan dilenyapkan karena belum berhasil menjadi manusia. Penciutan yang terjadi pada alur adalah pertemuan Shin Woo-yeo dengan seluruh keluarga Lee Dam. Sementara itu perubahan bervariasi pada alur, yaitu perubahan alasan Shin Woo-yeo mengambil kelerengnya dari Lee Dam dan perubahan pada alasan mengapa Shin Woo-yeo berhenti memanfaatkan Seo Yeong-ju untuk mendapatkan energi manusia. 

This thesis discusses about the ecranisation of the plot and characters of webtoon My Roommate is a Gumiho (? ???? ??) by Na, which was adapted into drama series My Roommate is a Gumiho (? ???? ??) by director Nam Sung-woo. The purpose of this research is to discuss the addition, subtraction, and variation changes of the plots and characters in the adaptation of webtoon My Roommate is a Gumiho (? ???? ??) into a drama series. This thesis uses Robert Stanton's structural theory (1965) to determine the plots and characters found in both webtoon and drama. Pamusuk Eneste's ecranisation theory (1991) is then also used to analyze and describe the subtraction, addition, and variation changes of the plots and characters that occur in the adaptation of webtoon My Roommate is a Gumiho (? ???? ??) into its drama. 

The results show that there are 3 addictions, 2 subtractions, and 2 variation changes happened to the characters of webtoon and drama. Addictions to the characters are Hwang Yoo-jin, Akgwi, and Seo Hwa. Subtractions to the characters are Lee Yoon-sang and Lee Dam's Father. While the variations changes happened to the character of Park Ha-kyung and Lim Yo-han. Furthermore, 5 additions, 1 reduction, and 2 variation changes to the plot are also found. Additions to the plot are the addition of Shin Woo-yeo's job, Shin Woo-yeo's marble changing its color, Lee Dam's meeting with Seo Hwa, the case of murder by an evil spirit, and Shin Woo-yeo's being perished because he has not succeeded in becoming human. The reduction that occurs in the plot is Shin Woo-yeo's meeting with Lee Dam's entire family. Meanwhile, variation changes in the plot are seen in the changes to the reason why Shin Woo-yeo took his marbles from Lee Dam and changes to the reason why Shin Woo-yeo stopped using Seo Yeong-ju to get human energy.
